Analysis of the Changes of Heart Rate Variability Caused by the Treatment of Cardiac Arrhythmia of Coronary Heart Disease with Amiodarone

Abstract:Objective:To do clinical analysis of the treatment of cardiac arrhythmia of coronary heart disease(CHD) with amiodarone,with the observation of heart rate variability(HRV). Methods:Randomly divide 80 patients with cardiac arrhythmia of CHD into two groups,and treat each group with amiodarone and propafenone respectively,and do HRV analysis before and after the treatment. Results:Both amiodarone and propafenone are effective to atrial arrhythmia and ventricular arrhythmia.Amiodarone has more obvious effect on atrial premature beats than propafenone( P 0.01),and it is also more remarkable in improving HRV of the patients with cardiac arrhythmia of CHD( P 0.01). Conclusion:Amiodarone is more effective than propafenone in improving the prognosis and in lowering the death rate of patients with cardiac arrhythmia of CHD.It is a most effective and safe medicine against arrhythmia,especially to cardiac arrhythmia of CHD.
