Evaluation on Current Situation of Medical Quality Management of Medical Staff in District and County General Hospitals in Chongqing City

Abstract:Objectives:To understand the current situation of medical quality management in district and county general hospitals in Chongqing City from the employees' perspective,and to provide information for the improvement of medical quality in district and county general hospitals in western China.Methods:The method of sampling survey was used.The investigation was carried out from six aspects of organizational structure,management functions,organizational norms,management tools,management training and operation supervision.The employees evaluated the current situation of medical quality management in the hospitals.Results:There were statistically significant differences in the satisfaction degree of six aspects of medical quality management and quality management in the current hospital and in the awareness degree of seven common medical quality management tools (P＜0.05).Conclusion:The organization of medical quality management and relevant system should be improved.The implement of incentives related to quality should be sped up to motivate the employees.The coverage of medical quality management training should be expanded.The quality supervision system should be formed with claridied responsibility,clear layers,cascaded control.The estabilishment of Hospital Quality Information System should be strengthened.
