Abstract:In this paper,the theoretical and experimental investigations on the performance characteristics of refrigeration screw compressor have been carried out in detail,such as researching on the working process of compressor by the p-V indicator diagrams recorded,the visual experimental study on the oil distribution in the working chamber,the investigation of discharge pressure pulsation in screw compressor,etc..Based on the theoretical and experimental research findings,the optimum design method for improving the screw compressor performance is presented in this paper,considering the rotor profile,the meshing gap,the configuration of screw compressor,and so on.
