Abstract:System configuration based on models are important for an IEC61850 substation automation system which is made up of equipments from more than one manufacturer.The system configuration process of IEC61850 substation and the file structure described by substation configuration description language are analyzed.A three-stage implementation plan for IEC61850 system configuration process is suggested based on the problems encountered during system configuration of a substation automation system which is made up of equipments from more than one manufacturer.It is believed that the system configuration of IEC61850 projects could be realized according to the plan of second stage with the endeavor by the IEC61850 implementation organization and manufacturers.

Abstract:This paper summarizes the development of distribution network automation in China, and analyses the shortcomings of traditional distribution automation with the background of intelligent grid. Then, based on the analysis of key technologies about intelligent distribution network dispatching, an intelligent distribution network dispatching system structure is proposed, and a typical software, hardware configuration scheme of dispatching master stations is given. According to the current level of equipment, the general configuration principle of distribution automation terminals and the calculation method, taking "three remote" terminals as an example are proposed. Finally, take a specific urban distribution network project as an example and its revamping scheme is introduced. The intelligent distribution network automation design scheme proposed in this paper has good practicability and can provide a great reference for related engineering projects.

Abstract:This paper centers on the mountainous distribution network automation strategy based on self-healing technology, analyzes the main components and functions of the distribution automation system master station, communication network, terminals, etc., which are mainly centralized control type, local control type and simple mode three types of fault handling principles. Based on the principle of centralized control type feeder automation mode, it focuses on the logic scheme of distribution network self-healing for typical fault handling.

Abstract:The goal of SCM is to establish and to maintain the integrity of the software product throughout the development lifecycle, and it results in the software quality and productivity improvement. This paper proposes a diverse-grained and process-oriented software configuration management system FDSCM, based on the analysis of the actual state of SCM technology and the challenge arose by advanced software development skills. Then it presents the key solutions, such as how to classify, organize, and describe configuration items to support diverse-grained configuration management, and how to support an evolving development environment and an iterative development cycle.

Abstract:Based on IEC 61970/IEC 61968 standards,this paper presents power a design principle to construct a common distribution management system(DMS) communication platform in Hangzhou Electric Bureau.Utilizing the powerful platform,the DMS can interconnect with EMS,transformer terminal utility system(TTU) and energy system easily.Furthermore,the common platform can discouple the DMS data and external system data.Meanwhile,the platform can process many kinds of external systems data using standard protocol,which gets the information more controllable.

Abstract:This article has summarized the developing history of distribution automation technology and analyzed existing problems that hinder its practical application. Currently the automation level of the distribution network in our country is very low reflecting as insufficient and immature functions. The research results have shown that the development of distribution automation will be focused on diversification, integration and intellectualization. Considering the intimate connection with smart grid, the article has pointed out the further development trends of distribution automation.

Abstract:The simulation of distribution automation troubleshooting and the functional design of training system software is discussed by this article, Including: basic platform capabilities, the decision analysis of auxiliary power failure, Power operation mode for load transfer analysis, the ring analysis of grid operation mode , the training simulator of distribution network and the data synchronization of the simulation system diagram and mode. The simulation of distribution automation troubleshooting and the effect of training system operation show the validity and effectiveness of the method.

Abstract:As an important component part of the smart grid,the distribution network however suffers relatively low level of automation.A distribution network advanced application software system is developed,whose architecture is described and the key technical challenges are analyzed according to the actual state of automation level,network operation and onsite demand. The algorithms and the features of the main functions of the system are presented,including three-phase modelling,three-phase state estimation, three-phase power flow, voltage/reactive power optimization, network reconfiguration, service restoration,security evaluation,etc.The strategies of integration with the geographic information system (GIS) platform and other systems are also briefly treated and illustrated with typical examples of engineering applications.

RS485 standard bus was adopted to build up communication network, which possesses advantages of high speed, far distance and low cost. The communication between configuration software and main control server was implemented by using OPC interface. The system has run on the spot and works well.

Abstract:Abstract On the basis of analyzing and summarizing the current situation of the construction and use of distribution automation systems at home and abroad, according to the requirements of the use of distribution automation systems, a data two-way interactive distribution automation system architecture design is proposed. In response to the requirements for multi-source data collection in the distribution network, a distribution automation system architecture with partitioned collection and bidirectional data flow is proposed to improve the perception of distribution network equipment. Propose the self-recognition technology of power distribution system and terminal based on IEC61968 and IEC61850 model mapping to realize the fast access of power distribution terminal. Propose a grid integration modeling and global decision analysis method based on model splicing technology to realize multi-dimensional data fusion and analysis applications.

Automatic engineering configuration system for substation automation based on SVG/XML/CIM

Abstract:An automatic engineering configuration system for substation automation in a power system is presented based on SVG/XML/CIM. Scalable vector graphics (SVG) coordinated with common information model (CIM) modeling is used to the information description and carrier for substation automation in the whole power system, including graphics and configuration information. A configuration tool is developed for substation side setting, which includes the editor for grid connection guidance diagram, substation primary guidance diagram encapsulated with the whole configuration information for grid connection, primary connection, automation and communication configuration. The tool is automatically collaborated with the master station in the dispatching center, through Java RMI or simple object access protocol (SOAP), and transmits the completed configuration information based on the SVG and XML the scheme for the master station where configuration processing is automatically performed subsequently. Such a development yields an engineering expected system which fulfills the open engineering configuration for manual configuration in substation and automatic configuration in master station, finding application in practice.

Abstract:The article compares the two distribution automation systems built 10 years before with now in Jinan Power Supply Company. The old distribution automation system put into operation in July 2002, named iES-DMS1000. From the actual use and maintenance of this system, we summarize the problems of this system. Learn from the experience and lessons of the old distribution network systems, we state the construction of the intelligent distribution automation system building in Jinan Power Supply Company now. Breaking the previous systems' construction of island, it can come true that many related information systems can interconnect with each other in the new distribution system. That is the innovation for Control Integration, connecting the various systems with the new distribution automation system, In the end of this article, we abstract the characteristics and experiences of the distribution automation system building in the Jinan Power Supply Company now. And we set up the experience and recommendations of the system setup and maintenance.
