Application of ultra filtration and reverse osmosis technology in reclaimed water reuse of power plant

Abstract:Taking reclaimed water reuse project in Zhanjiang Power Electric Co. ,Ltd. as an example,the paper introduced the application of ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis in reclaimed water reuse process. Re-sults showed that the dual-membrane ( ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis) process could effectively remove the residue pollutants in pretreated reclaimed water,by the rate of 91. 67%,93. 22% and 98. 49% for or-ganic compounds,ammonia nitrogen and inorganic salt respectively. The effluent water was excellent and stable,after treated by ion exchange process, meeting boiler make-up water quality requirements. In the long-term operation,membrane properties had no significant change by proper operation and maintenance.
