Abstract:The paper concludes three characters, four forces, and three paths of underdeveloped mountainous region spatial clustering on the basis of statistical and case studies. The paper manifests four planning in Xiuwen county and Macheng city cases:community development, third industry concentration, surplus rural population transfer, and population urbanization.
