Abstract:In the Consteel EAF employed at SISG,the volume of the exhausted fume far exceeded the originally designed capacity of the dedusting system,due to the severer carbon-oxygen reaction caused by the increased fraction of molten iron charged to the EAF.In order to ensure a smooth implementation of the new steel-making process,and to improve the ecological condition in the plant,a secondary fume hood type dedudting system is added in order to better handle the exhausted fume.

Abstract:In view of troublesome problems influencing upon the safety of lowgrade bituminous coal firing boilers with hot air for sending pulverized coal and centralized allocatioin of the primary air, such as firecarrying in the primary air jet orifice, and slagging on the waterwall in zone of burners etc., occured after enhancement of volatile and heat value in the coal, a scheme for solving the said problems by admixing exhaust gas has been put forward. The results of design calculation combined with typical boilers, as well as test and study on the admixer of exhaust gas and hot air show that the exhaust gas can be admixed with hot air in a large proportional range, making the implementation of the said scheme to be possible.

Abstract:To address the deterioration of workshop air quality due to free emission of unorganized fumes from multiple surface sources of residual anode carbon blocks during electrolytic cell opening and anode changing operations, new unorganized fumes collecting equipment based on negative pressure suction was designed. Take a workshop as an example, by the CFD coupled DPM simulation method for unorganized fumes, the influence of the negative pressure P of the fan, and the distance h between the upper surface of the residual carbon block and the exhaust hood on the collection efficiency was investigated. The results showed that the collection efficiency of flue gas and dust increased with the increase in negative pressure and increased at first and then decreased with the rise in the distance between the upper surface of the residual carbon block and the exhaust hood. The collection efficiency of flue gas and dust was the highest when the negative pressure was 5000 Pa, and the distance was 176 mm; at this time the collection efficiency of flue gas was 85.06%, and the dust was 72.58%. Further, validation tests in practical applications were carried out. The experimental results consistently demonstrate that the established CFD coupled DPM simulation method had a good agreement with the experimental results. The error of flue gas collection efficiency was less than 3.1%, and the error of dust collection efficiency was less than 1.2%. The research conducted had critical engineering application values for achieving high cleanliness and low energy consumption operation of unorganized fumes.

Abstract:A 1000 Nm(3)/h capacity pilot scale dual baghouse filter system was tested on flue gas and fly ash from a municipal solid waste incinerator, and the removal efficiency of dioxins, heavy metals and HCl was studied. Activated carbon was injected at the inlet of the first baghouse filter to remove the gas phase dioxins and heavy metals, and baking soda was injected at the inlet of the second baghouse filter to remove HCl. Concentrations of dioxins at the outlet of the first and second baghouse were 0.034 and 0.011 ng TEQ/Nm(3), respectively, which were both far below the national emission standard. The particulate matter concentration was 0.85 mg/m(3), and the heavy metals leaching concentration of the fly ash from the second baghouse filter was lower than the hazardous waste identification standard. HCl concentration was almost zero at the outlet of the second baghouse filter when the optimal equivalence ratio of baking soda to HCl was 1.6. In addition, the estimated fly ash yield was 2.35% of the incinerated solid waste for the dual baghouse filter system, which was significantly lower than 3.5% as the traditional semidry scrubber + single baghouse filter.

Abstract:In this paper, a new NOx removal control technique coupled with energy recovery in a sintering plant is proposed. On the basis of energy calculation, it was found that the energy of sintered ore was large enough to supply the energy necessary to heat effluent flue gas to the catalytic temperature window. Moreover, the experimental results showed that sintered ore had a significant effect on catalytic reducing NO with adding NH3. The maximum NO catalytic reduction efficiency could reach 38% at 673 K, which means that the effluent flue gas from a sinter machine did not need further treatment to reach the limit of national pollutants emission standard of China.

Abstract:A test system of a moving granular bed filter without screen for high temperature dust removal was introduced. The relationships between the filter characteristics and the main affecting factors were found. The structure and parameters of this filter for hot gas dust removal were optimized. The results showed that the moving granular bed filter can remove particulate from hot gas continuously and high efficiency can be obtained after optimization.

Abstract:Applications of circulating fluidized bed (CFB) semi-dry flue gas desulfurization (FGD) technology are increasing globally on coal-fired boilers, MSW incinerators, and other sources because of water saving characteristics, the ability to control SO 2 emissions comparable to traditional wet FGD and, in addition, providing simultaneous removal of SO 3, acid gases and particulate. This type of CFB technology has been used in certain forms for decades, and the critical process of gas humidification has been improved dramatically through the work of the Institute of Thermal Power Engineering of Zhejiang University (ITPE), to the benefit of commercial plants in China. Based on the ITPE research data and results in full-scale implementation, this novel humidification technology maintains greater uniformity of reagent humidity in the absorber and enhances the time for reaction with pollutants. The desulfurization efficiency has shown to be markedly improved and the potential of scaling on the inner wall of the absorber was dramatically minimized. This paper will contain data derived from research as well as full-scale plant applications from commercial coal-fired boiler applications.

Abstract:This paper study the removal efficiency of dioxins in the flue gas from small-scale MSW incinerator, by using bag house, activated carban filter/adsorbor, and the combined unit of the bag house and activated carban filter/adsorbor. The removal efficiencies of the above three units respectively were 39.7%, 61.9%, 93.4% at 850-900 degrees C. It was shown that the combined unit of the bg house and activated carban filter/adsobor could reduce the operation cost, as well as meet the national criterion.

Abstract:Over the past decades, China has suffered from negative environmental impacts from distempered dust-laden airflow-purification activities. After a decade of effort, dust-laden airflow purification and powder particle recycling have been realized in specialized companies in China, and law enforcement for illegal activities of dust-laden airflow discharge has also been made increasingly strict. Thus, up to now, dust-laden airflow purification in China should be developed toward being more in-depth and refined to promote industrial applications of dust-laden airflow purification. This article reviews the status of existing technologies for dust-laden airflow purification. A novel and environmentally friendly technology for purifying the dust-laden airflow is proposed which uses a metal bag filter to collect dust particles. The bottlenecks in the dust-laden airflow-purification system are analyzed. Some preliminary experiments of pinch technologies are also conducted. Finally, in order to provide directional guidance for the future development of metal bag filters, some key points regarding the metal bag filter purification system are proposed to point towards a future trend in dust-laden airflow purification.

Abstract:The invention relates to a system and method for intelligently tempering and strengthening removal of multiple pollutants in sintering flue gas. A tempering agent raw material is dispersed into tempering agent particles in set particle sizes through a jet milling coupling electrostatic dispersion device, and a tempering agent circulating device is used for circulating and re-crushing the temperingagent particles exceeding the set particle sizes; tempering agent particles meeting the set particle size requirement are sprayed into an upstream flue of the electrostatic dust collector through a venturi tube and a swirl nozzle to achieve sintering flue gas hardening and tempering, a fly ash characteristic model and an electric dust collector outlet particle concentration control model in the intelligent control subsystem are further combined, and tempering agent composition, the spraying amount and the spraying frequency are adjusted in real time, so that flue gas characteristics such as fly ash specific resistance and the like are always in an optimal removal interval of the electrostatic dust collector, the concentration of particulate matters at an outlet of the electrostatic dust collector is always below a set limit value, the reaction activity of a downstream SCR denitration system is prevented from being reduced, and the removal efficiency of various pollutants such as particulate matters, nitrogen oxide, heavy metal mercury, sulfur dioxide and dioxin is improved.

Abstract:Waste\|heat recovery,dust removal and desulphurization multi\|function flue gas cleaner is a new type equipment.Which is all to replace the small\|and mid\|industrial boilers with low thermal efficiency and high air pollution.Based on foundation principle and characteristics introduction of multi\|function flue gas cleaner,experimental researches on pressure drop,dust removal,heat transfer and desulfurization were performed in 3000?m\+3/h scale experimental system.The results are as follows:the pressure drop of multi\|function flue gas cleaner is 618—794?Pa,dusting efficiency for 0 0639?mm particle size can reach to 82%—92%,heat transfer cofficiency is 1 5—2 2 times of conventional air preheater and boiler thermal efficiency can increase 4 8%,desulphurization efficiency is 75%.The results indicate that the multi\|function flue gas cleaner can satisfy the needs of energy saving and environment protection for industrial boiler.

Abstract:Abstract Flue gas will be emitted during the waste incineration power generation process. The flue gas contains toxic and harmful ingredients. If it is not treated, it will cause serious harm to human health and the environment. Therefore, the incineration flue gas needs to be purified. In this paper, combined with the monitoring of a large-scale waste incineration power plant incinerator flue gas purification treatment project, the combined process of “in-furnace denitrification (SNCR) + semi-dry deacidification + slaked lime and activated carbon (dry process) injection + bag filter”. The purification effect of flue gas shows that the process has a good purification effect on domestic waste incineration flue gas. This study can provide reference and basis for the treatment of incineration flue gas in the industry.

Abstract:The utility model relates to a system for hardening and tempering sintering flue gas to strengthen removal of various pollutants. The system comprises an airflow crushing and coupling electrostatic dispersion device, a screw feeder, a hardening and tempering agent circulator, a Venturi tube and a rotational flow nozzle which are connected in sequence, the airflow crushing coupling electrostatic dispersion device comprises a shell, a plurality of direct-current nozzles are arranged at the top in the shell, the spraying directions of the direct-current nozzles intersect at the center point, anda discharge electrode is vertically arranged in the middle in the shell; the conditioning agent circulator comprises a conditioning agent circulating tower and a conditioning agent particle size screening device which are connected in sequence; a powder outlet of the conditioning agent particle size screening device is connected with an inlet of the jet milling coupling electrostatic dispersion device; a control valve is arranged on a connecting pipeline between the Venturi tube and the swirl nozzle; and the swirl nozzle is arranged in an upstream flue of the electrostatic dust collector. According to the utility model, efficient preparation, transportation and utilization of hardening and tempering agent particles can be realized, the operation cost is reduced, and efficient and stable removal of particles under variable load can be realized at low cost.

Abstract:The paper describes in detail the properties of Fujian province's anthracite and industrial experiments of firing the anthracite, performed on a 35t/h circulating fluidized bed boiler. The effect of varying Ca/S ratio, granule size of the limestone and other factors on desulfurization, as well as the influence of adding limestone on furnace bed temperature, temperature distribution along the furnace, NO_x emission, CO emission, carbon content in the fly ash and the furnace refuse as well as on the furnace's heat content are being reported.

Abstract:The invention relates to a system and method for realizing the high-efficiency removal of fine particles in high-temperature gas through electrofiltration coupling. The system comprises an intelligentcontrol device, a filter body, a discharge dust removal device, a filtering dust removal device, a rectifying device, a tubular ash removal device, a vibrating ash removal device, a hot air device and an ash conveying device; the intelligent control device collects, processes and feeds back all real-time monitoring data of the whole system. According to the system and method of the invention, anelectrofiltration coupled high-temperature flue gas dust removal system formed by combining the three devices, namely, the intelligent control device, the discharge dust removal device and the filtering dust removal device, the rectifying device and the tubular ash removal device are adopted; the advantages of each device technology are fully utilized; the restriction of flue gas conditions (temperature, components, physicochemical properties and the like) and smoke dust conditions on the dust removal performance of the dust removal device is effectively solved; the operation parameters of thehigh-temperature dust removal system are adjusted in real time by intelligently optimizing and regulating a key parameter model; and the purposes of energy conservation, consumption reduction and emission reduction are achieved.

Abstract:The disposal of the product is a key process in the Wet Flue Gas Desulfuration(WFGD). The slurry jet WFGD system in Nan Ning Smelting Plant adopted the forced oxidizing CaSO 3 on the spot and dewatering by the vacuum filter. The experiment investigated the oxidation rate in the absorbing tank, tested and compared the slurries whose dewatering properties were different.The result showed that residual CaSO 3 affected the slurry dewatering. To improve the quality of the gypsum, enhancing the oxidation in the absorbing tank is a right choice.
