Abstract:Objective:To compare efficacy and safety of Duloxetine combined with Mirtazapine, and Venlafaxine combined with Mirtazapine in treatment of refractory depression. Methods:63 outpatients and inpatients were randomly divided into study group ( treated with Duloxetine combined with Mirtazapine for 8 weeks, 31 cases) and control group ( treated with Venlafaxine combined with Mirtazapine for 8 weeks, 32 cases). 17-item Hamilton depression rating scale (HAMD17) was used to evaluate the efficacy, adverse drug reactions were evaluated with treatment emergent symptom scale ( TESS) . Results:After the treatment, HAMD scores of the two groups both decreased significantly (P<0. 01). On the 8th week, the effective rates of study group and control group were 67. 9% and 71. 4%, respectively, and the difference had no statistical significance (P>0. 05). The incidence rate of blood pressure elevation of control group was higher than that of study group, and the difference had a statistical significance (P<0. 05). Conclusions:Duloxetine combined with Mirtazapine has a obvious curative effect in treating refractory depression;however, the incidence rate of blood pressure elevation of Venlafaxine combined with Mirtazapine in the treatment of refractory depression is higher than that of Duloxetine combined with Mirtazapine.
