Discussion on Optimization of Equipment Renovation Scheme of Datong Station

Abstract:Datong station,located in the meeting point of Jingbao,Fengshada,Beitongpu,Dazhun railway lines,is a principal station in the railway network of North China with a-hundred-year history. The design of its station and yard is complicated. Due to various reasons,there was no overhaul in the past thirty years so that the equipment is obsolete and aging which need the comprehensive renovation urgently. In order to meet the requirements of safe production and transport organizations,a unified design is undertaken combined with the introduction of the original Hanyuan line into Datong terminal by the cost of the equipment overhaul of public works,electric services,power unit of Datong station,and the layout plan of the station and yard is optimized. Through in- depth analyses,it is presented in terms of design ideas,design schemes,construction programs. Slip switches is canceled in the layout plan of North Throat; the south passenger car technical servicing depot that is extended to the inside of the station meets the requirement of 18 cars' inspection,and is incorporated into the command of microcomputer interlocking integration. A unit splitting is adopted for power supply and OCS is optimized to be astylar; signal trunk cable route is easy for implementation; the old turnout snowmelt device is fully taken advantages; clean of turnout and the whole section of the line solves the drainage problems; DC-AC change of electric service switch machine simplifies the construction procedures. All the measures mentioned above have successfully resolved the renovations of Datong station.
