Station Facilities Engineering Analysis of Qinghai-Tibet Ra ilway

Abstract:The paper analyzes the specific requiremen t of the post-station engineering of Qinghai-Tibet railway in system solution,eq uipment type selection and management mode.It describes the impact of the post- station engineering at high altitude on the living quality and working condition s of the relevant people,the effect on the performance of traction power and con struction machineries,on the electric devices of high and low voltage and on the buildings and water supply and drainage engineering.The paper under the precond ition of meeting the common features of railway industry,shall give way to and e mbody the individual features of the Qinghai-Tibet railway.The principle of sel ecting the test section is: a) sufficient altitude so that the in-situ test sha ll be able to reflect the real condition of 4 000 m—4 500 m above sea level;and b) Long enough section so that the post-station equipment shall be able to ope rate in the corresponding system.The paper also discusses the key points, the e ngineering design,the tasks and the characteristics of the design and research,a nd the test contents.
