Abstract:In this paper, we study the critical fractional Laplacian system with Choquard type nonlinearities{(-Delta)(s)u = k(1) (integral(RN) vertical bar u(y)vertical bar(2 mu)*/vertical bar x - y vertical bar(mu) dy)vertical bar u vertical bar(2 mu)*(-2)u+ alpha gamma/2(mu)* (integral(RN)vertical bar v(y)vertical bar(beta)/vertical bar x - y vertical bar(mu)dy)vertical bar u vertical bar(alpha-2)u in R-N,(-Delta)(s)v = k(2) (integral(RN) vertical bar v(y)vertical bar(2 mu)*/vertical bar x - y vertical bar(mu)dy) vertical bar v vertical bar(2 mu)*(-2)v + beta gamma/2(mu)* (integral(RN) vertical bar u(y)vertical bar(alpha)/vertical bar x-y vertical bar(mu) dy)vertical bar v vertical bar(beta-2)v in R-N,where (-Delta)(s) is the well known fractional Laplacian operator, s is an element of (0, 1), N > 2s, k(1), k(2 )> 0, gamma not equal 0, mu is an element of (0, N), alpha, beta > 1 and 2(mu)* = (2N - mu)/(N - 2s) is the fractional upper critical exponent in the Hardy- Littlewood-Sobolev inequality, D-s (R-N) is the Hilbert space as the completion of C-c(infinity)(R-N). We show the existence and nonexistence results for the critical nonlocal system. These extend results in the literature for the case s = 1 and alpha = beta = 2(mu), where 2(mu), = (2N - mu)/(N - 2) is the critical exponent in the sense of the Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev inequality. Particularly, we establish new existence and multiplicity of positive solutions for the system when alpha + beta = 2 . 2(mu)*, whose key is providing an accurate upper bound of the least energy.
