Abstract:The paperputs forward and briefly expounds 9 key issues of Chinese Landscape Architecture-background,values,characteristics,hard core,boundaries,definitions,missions,strategies and actions.The paper also gives a definition of "landscape architecture" as following with the missions of guarding shan-shui,local culture,and public well-being,integrated applying the methods of sciences,engineering and arts,landscape architecture is a discipline to conserve,plan,design,construct and manage healthy,pleasant,practical,and sustainable Jings.
