Abstract:We derive interior curvature bounds for admissible solutions of a class of curvature equations subject to affine Dirichlet data, generalizing a well-known estimate of Pogorelov for equations of Monge-Ampere type. For equations for which convexity of the solution is the natural ellipticity assumption, the curvature bound is proved for solutions with C-1,C-1 Dirichlet data. We also use the curvature bounds to improve and extend various existence results for the Dirichlet and Plateau problems.

Abstract:The curvature estimates of quotient curvature equation do not always exist even for convex setting \cite{GRW}. Thus it is natural question to find other type of elliptic equations possessing curvature estimates. In this paper, we discuss the existence of curvature estimate for fully nonlinear elliptic equations defined by symmetric polynomials, mainlly, the linear combination of elementary symmetric polynomials.

Abstract:We derive a concavity inequality for $k$-Hessian operators under the semi-convexity condition. As an application, we establish interior estimates for semi-convex solutions of the $k$-Hessian equations with vanishing Dirichlet boundary and obtain a Liouville-type result. Additionally, we provide new and simple proofs of Guan-Ren-Wang's results on global curvature estimates for $k$-curvature equations.

Furthermore,we investigate the interior C1,1 regularity of the solutions for Dirichlet problems. Abstract:In the paper, we prove the existence and uniqueness results of the $C^{1,1}$ regular graphic hypersurface for Dirichlet problem of a class of degenerate Hessian quotient type curvature equations under the condition $\psi^{\frac{1}{k-l}}\in C^{1,1}(\overline{\Omega}\times\mathbb{R}\times\mathbb{S}^n)$. Specially, we also consider the second order derivative estimates for the corresponding degenerate Hessian type curvature equations under the optimal condition $\psi^{\frac{1}{k-1}}\in C^{1,1}(\overline{\Omega}\times\mathbb{R}\times\mathbb{S}^n)$.

Abstract:Given a compact Riemannian manifold M and an open interval I in R, we consider a warped product manifold . For a positive function f defined on , we obtain the existence of the ( η , k )-convex hypersurface Σ which satisfies a Hessian quotient equation for 0 ⩽ l < k < n , and η = Hg − h , the first Newton transformation of the second fundamental form h . This generalizes the result of Chen et al. (2020) and gives a simpler proof of the curvature estimate. As a corollary, we can get an ( η , k )-convex solution for in R n +1 for some prescribed function h , which can be viewed as the prescribed curvature measure type problem.
