Abstract:In this paper, a special second-order Briot–Bouquet differential equation is studied. We construct explicit meromorphic solutions by the Kowalevski–Gambier method and a careful discussion. How we take into account the corresponding series at zeros, as opposed to the Laurent series at poles. This method is also useful for the study of many other non-linear differential equations.

Abstract:This paper deals with the Briot-Bouquet differential equations with degree three. The previous result shows that all the meromorphic solutions belong to W. Here, by applying the Kowalevski-Gambier method, the authors give all the possible explicit meromorphic solutions. The result is more applicable. Also, this method can be used to deal with the more general Briot-Bouquet differential equations.

Abstract:In this article, we study the problem of meromorphic solutions about some class of Briot-Bouquet differential equations. By the knowledge of Nevanlinna value-distribution theory, we obtain all the possible forms of this differential equations and give the meromorphic solutions of each form when the order of equations is even. Some results on meromorphic solutions of special Briot-Bouquet differential equations are extended.

Combining the method of constructing Green functions with operators defined piecewise, the existence result of positive solutions to a singular second order three-point boundary value problem is established. First, we use a fixed point theorem to prove the existence of positive solutions to the above equation under certain assumptions. Then, on the positive solution of the equation, we get the regularity in a bounded domain with estimating the L∞ ‐bounds by Moser's iterative technique.

Abstract:In this paper, we study a Generalized (2+1)-dimensional Boussinesq-type equation. Using the Hirota bilinear method, we present the N -order bright soliton solutions and dark soliton solutions. For the one-soliton solution, the bright soliton solution and the dark soliton solution share the same limit line but have different extreme values. Building on the soliton solutions, we derive higher-order bright and dark breather solutions as well as mixed solutions. The dynamic behavior is characterized using visual representations. Furthermore, through the long-wave limit method, we obtain the bright and dark lump solutions. Notably, they share the same extreme points but have different extreme values. Additionally, we derive two semi-rational solutions as lump-soliton and lump-breather. It is found that the lump moves along the peak amplitude of the soliton wave.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the existence and uniqueness of positive solutions for a class of a fractional differential equation system of Riemann–Liouville type on infinite intervals with infinite-point boundary conditions. First, the higher-order equation is reduced to the lower-order equation, and then it is transformed into the equivalent integral equation. Secondly, we obtain the existence and uniqueness of positive solutions for each fixed parameter by using the mixed monotone operators fixed-point theorem. The results obtained in this paper show that the unique positive solution has good properties: continuity, monotonicity, iteration, and approximation. Finally, an example is given to demonstrate the application of our main results.
