Abstract:For practical application of lithium-oxygen batteries, one of the challenges is the development of efficient bifunctional electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) in cathode. In this work, perovskite Sr0.9Y0.1CoO3-delta nanorods are synthesized by an electrospinning method. The performance of the Li-O-2 cell with Sr0.9Y0.1CoO3-delta catalysts is better than that of the cell only with Super-P. Furthermore, modification of CoO nanoparticles on the cathode can provide an obviously improved electrochemical performance with a reduced voltage gap (-80-140 mV), which is ascribed to the superior catalytic activity of CoO nanoparticles toward OER. All of these results demonstrate that the perovskite Sr0.9Y0.1CoO3-delta is an efficient bifunctional electrocatalyst for lithium-oxygen batteries, and the incorporation of CoO nanoparticles is an effective approach for improving the cathode performance as well.

Abstract:Lithium-oxygen (Li-O-2) cells have attained increasing attention in recent years due to their extremely high energy density. An efficient catalyst for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is a key factor for high-performance Li-O-2 cells. In this work, a unique design of catalytic cathode composed of black phosphorus quantum dots-decorated delta-MnO2 nanobelts (BPQD/delta-MnO2) on carbon cloth is proposed. The thin belt-like architecture of delta-MnO2 and porous structure of the catalytic cathode not only provide numerous catalytic sites for ORR/OER but also facilitate transportation of the reactants and deposition of the discharge product. The synergic effect of delta-MnO2 and BPQD enables discrete growth of thin Li2O2 sheets on delta-MnO2, leading to high capacity (8463 mAh g(-1) at 100 mA g(-1)) and long cycle life (182 cycles at 400 mA g(-1) with a limited capacity of 1000 mAhg(-1)) of the cells. Density functional theory calculations support that Li2O2 favors conformal growth on delta-MnO2 in the presence of BPQD.
Efficient Modulation of Electron Pathways by Constructing a MnO2- x@CeO2 Interface toward Advanced Lithium-Oxygen Batteries

Abstract:A major challenge for Li-O2 batteries is to facilely achieve the formation and decomposition of the discharge product Li2O2, and the development of an active and synergistic cathode is of great significance to efficiently accelerate its formation/decomposition kinetics. Herein, a novel strategy is presented by constructing a MnO2-x@CeO2 heterostructure on the porous carbon matrix. When it was used as a cathode for Li-O2 batteries, excellent electrochemical performances, including low overpotential, large discharge capacity, and superior cycling stability were obtained. Series theoretical calculations were conducted to reveal the mechanism for the reversible battery reactions and explain how Li2O2 interacts with the MnO2-x@CeO2 interface. Apart from the electronic ladders formed between MnO2-x 3d and CeO2 4f orbitals, which can act as a highly efficient "electron transfer expressway", the specific adsorption of MnO2-x and CeO2 with Li2O2 molecules contributes to the enhanced anchoring force of Li2O2 and delocalization of the electron cloud on the Li-O bond. Thanks to the constructed heterostructure and synergistic effect, filmlike Li2O2 can be formed through a surface pathway, and when charging, it accelerates the separation of electrons and Li+ in Li2O2, thus achieving fast redox kinetics and low overpotential.

Abstract:A novel design and synthesis methodology is the most important consideration in the development of a superior electrocatalyst for improving the kinetics of oxygen electrode reactions, such as the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) and the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) in Li-O2 battery application. Herein, we demonstrate a glycine-assisted hydrothermal and probe sonication method for the synthesis of a mesoporous spherical La0.8Ce0.2Fe0.5Mn0.5O3 perovskite particle and embedded graphene nanosheet (LCFM(8255)-gly/GNS) composite and evaluate its bifunctional ORR/OER kinetics in Li-O2 battery application. The physicochemical characterization confirms that the as-formed LCFM(8255)-gly perovskite catalyst has a highly crystalline structure and mesoporous morphology with a large specific surface area. The LCFM(8255)-gly/GNS composite hybrid structure exhibits an improved onset potential and high current density toward ORR/OER in both aqueous and non-aqueous electrolytes. The LCFM(8255)-gly/GNS composite cathode (ca. 8475 mAh g−1) delivers a higher discharge capacity than the La0.5Ce0.5Fe0.5Mn0.5O3-gly/GNS cathode (ca. 5796 mAh g−1) in a Li-O2 battery at a current density of 100 mA g−1. Our results revealed that the composite’s high electrochemical activity comes from the synergism of highly abundant oxygen vacancies and redox-active sites due to the Ce and Fe dopant in LaMnO3 and the excellent charge transfer characteristics of the graphene materials. The as-developed cathode catalyst performed appreciable cycle stability up to 55 cycles at a limited capacity of 1000 mAh g−1 based on conventional glass fiber separators.

Abstract:Non-aqueous Li-O-2 battery has attracted plenty of interest due to its super theoretical energy density. Nevertheless, it also faces formidable challenges with respect to an unaccepted overpotential during charge process and a low round trip efficiency, which leads to a poor cycle life. Herein, we present a novel binder-free composite cathode comprised of MgCo2O4@3D graphene with a three-dimensional structure, which has never been used in the lithium oxygen batteries, as a cathode applied in the non-aqueous Li-O-2 battery. The MgCo2O4 nanowires as the catalyst is grown on the graphene substrate supported by the nickel foam. The discharge product Li2O2 formed with a flake-like morphology decompose at a low potential ascribed to excellent catalytic activity from MgCo2O4. Finally, we demonstrate a non-aqueous Li-O-2 battery capable of operating over 480 cycles with limiting capacity and rate values at 400 mAhg(-1) and 200 mAg(-1).

Abstract:The sluggish Li‐O reaction kinetics is the most urgent technical barrier of lithium‐oxygen batteries. The Li2O2's growth/decomposition pathways dominate the battery performance and can be optimized by exploring efficient cathode catalysts. Herein, we prepare regular, polycrystalline, oxygen vacancy (VO)‐riched PrOx uniformly anchored on few‐layered graphene (FLG) nanosheets to boost the Li‐O reactions. XRD, TGA, XPS, SEM, TEM, SEAD, and electrochemical test techniques are used to study their chemical composition, microstructure, battery performance, and the effect of FLG on the formation and polycrystalline and VO. It is confirmed that FLG provides a large specific surface area and good electron transport. Moreover, it works as an anchoring substrate to transform PrOx from single crystal to polycrystalline, which is beneficial for exposing catalytic sites and VO and improving the battery performance. This unique composition and structure offer efficient active sites, accelerate electron transport, and regulate the Li2O2's nucleation to form nanofilms or nanosheets on the catalyst. With this cathode catalyst, the battery achieved an ultralow total overpotential of 0.618 V, with a discharge capacity of 11489 mAh g‐1 in the ultimate‐capacity mode and a superior cyclability of 85 cycles under the limited capacity of 500 mAh g‐1.

Abstract:Li–O2 batteries recently have attracted intensive research interest because of the rather high energy density. The electrochemical performance of Li–O2 batteries, however, is largely limited by the insulating and reactive Li2O2, which necessitates a renovation on the design of catalytic cathodes. In this work, we propose a unique MnO2/carbon submicron tube (MnO2/CST) array-type catalytic cathode capable of controlling Li2O2 growth spatially and structurally. The high catalytic activity of ultrathin MnO2 nanosheets enables conformal growth of thin-layered Li2O2 on the MnO2 sheets, which relieves or defers electrode deactivation upon discharge and renders easy catalytic decomposition of Li2O2 upon charge. In situ transmission electron microscopy characterization confirms the presence of Li2O2 on discharged MnO2/CST and reveals the phase transition and morphology changes upon charge. The array-type architecture of the catalytic cathode facilitates barrier-free transportation of oxygen gas and Li ions. The absence of polymer binder and the reduced carbon exposure to Li2O2 (or LiO2) exclude or minimize the parasitic reactions related to binder and carbon. As a result, Li–O2 cells with MnO2/CST catalytic cathode exhibit superior cycling stability and low polarization. At 800mAg–1, the cell can sustain a stable cycling of over 300 cycles at a limited capacity of 1000 mAh g–1.
Metal-organic frameworks/ hydrotalcite/graphene oxide sandwich composites derived Fe-Ce@GSL hierarchical materials as highly efficient catalysts for rechargeable Zn-air batteries

Abstract:The fabrication of efficient bi-functional catalysts for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) applied in energy storage and conversion devices like Zn-air batteries to solve the growing energy and environmental crises has attracted great attentions. In this work, the Fe-Ce@GSL catalysts have developed by first constructing the MOF/LDH/GO templates with multi-stage mixed growth method followed by calcining the template at high temperature. Fe-Ni-LDH (hydrotalcite) plays the role of linking the metal organic frameworks (Fe-Ce-MOF) and graphene oxides (GO), avoiding the separation of MOFs derivatives and GO sheets during pyrolysis process. Rare-earth metal oxide (CeO2) featuring with abundant oxygen vacancies dispersed on the surface of transition-metal oxide can efficiently improve the stability of catalysts. The optimal Fe7-Ce1@GSL-800 catalysts exhibit excellent ORR/OER performances with the potential gap between ORR (E1/2 = 0.87 V) and OER (EJ=10 = 1.59 V) of 0.720 V. The aqueous Zn-air battery assembled with Fe7-Ce1@GSL-800 catalysts exhibits outstanding performances with high open circuit voltage (1.56 V), large specific capacity (801.1 mAh/g@10 mA.cm-2), and good charge-discharge cycle performances (>500 h). The Fe7-Ce1@GSL-800 based solid-state Zn-air battery also delivers an excellent performance with high specific capacity (791.7 mAh/g@5 mA.cm-2) and long cycle stability (>230 h).

Abstract:A rechargeable lithium-oxygen (Li-O2) battery with a remarkably high theoretical energy storage capacity has attracted enormous research attention. However, the poor oxygen reduction and oxygen evolution reaction (ORR and OER) activities in discharge and charge processes cause low energy efficiency, poor electrolyte stability and short cycle life. This requires the development of efficient cathode catalysts to dramatically improve the Li-O2 battery performances. MnO2-based materials are recognized as efficient and low-cost catalysts for a Li-O2 battery cathode. Here, we report a controllable approach to synthesize hierarchical porous δ-MnO2 nanoboxes by using Prussian blue analogues as the precursors. The obtained products possess hierarchical pore size and an extremely large surface area (249.3 m(2) g(-1)), which would favour oxygen transportation and provide more catalytically active sites to promote ORR and OER as the Li-O2 battery cathode. The battery shows enhanced discharge capacity (4368 mA h g(-1)@0.08 mA cm(-2)), reduced overpotential (270 mV), improved rate performance and excellent cycle stability (248 cycles@500 mA h g(-1) and 112 cycles@1000 mA h g(-1)), in comparison with the battery with a VX-72 carbon cathode. The superb performance of the hierarchical porous δ-MnO2 nanoboxes, together with a convenient fabrication method, presents an alternative to develop advanced cathode catalysts for the Li-O2 battery.
Rationalizing the effect of surface electronic structure on oxygen electrocatalyst for high performance lithium-oxygen battery

Abstract:Lithium-oxygen (Li-O2) batteries show ultrahigh energy density compared with traditional Li-ion batteries. However, the high overpotential and the short cycle life need to be addressed before the practical application of this promising system. In this work, cerium doped cobalt nickel oxide Co2NiO4 (CCNO) is successfully prepared and studied as a high-performance catalyst for Li-O2 cells. The introduction of cerium contributes to form a large number of active sites on the catalyst surface and promotes the kinetics of oxygen redox reactions due to the modified electronic structure on the surface of CCNO nanowire array. Furthermore, the typical three-dimensional (3D) open architecture of CCNO promotes the mass transfer and thus further accelerates the electrochemical reactions. As expected, the cell based on CCNO electrode shows excellent electrochemical performance, including high discharge capacity of 9421.7 mA h g − 1 with a low overpotential of 0.59 V at a current density of 500 mA g − 1 and a long-term cycle life of more than 170 cycles. All these results clearly illustrate that cerium doping strategy provides new insights into the design of electrocatalysts for high-performance metal-air batteries.

Two-Dimensional Mn3O4 Nanosheets with Dominant (101) Crystal Planes on Graphene As Efficient Oxygen Catalysts for Ultrahigh Capacity and Long-Life Li–O2 Batteries

Abstract:Designing oxygen catalysts with well-defined shapes and high-activity crystal facets is of great importance to boost catalytic performance of Li-O2 batteries but challenging. Herein, we report the facet engineering of an ultrathin Mn3O4 nanosheet (NS) with dominant (101) crystal planes on graphene (Mn3O4 NS/G) as efficient and durable oxygen catalysts for high -performance Li-O2 batteries with ultrahigh capacity and long-term stability. Notably, the Mn3O4 NS/G with the (101) facets and enriched oxygen vacancies offers a lower charge overpotential of 0.86 V than that of Mn3O4 nanoparticles on graphene (1.15 V). Further, the Mn3O4 NS/G cathode exhibits a long-term stability over 1300 h and an ultrahigh specific capacity up to 35,583 mAh g-1 at 200 mA g-1, outperforming most Mn-based oxides for Li- O2 batteries reported. Both the experimental and theoretical results prove the lower adsorption energy of Mn3O4 (101) for Li2O2 in comparison with Mn3O4 (211), manifesting the easier decomposition of Li2O2 during the charging process. This work will open many opportunities to engineer Mn-based materials with a defined crystal facet for high-performance Li-O2 batteries.

Abstract:Lithium-O-2 cells can be considered the "holy grail" of lithium batteries because they offer much superior theoretical energy density to conventional lithium-ion systems. In this study, porous carbon-supported MnO2 nanorods synthesized at room temperature were explored as an electrocatalyst for rechargeable Li-O-2 cells. Both high-energy X-ray diffraction and X-ray absorption fine-structure analyses showed that the prepared MnO2 exhibited a tetragonal crystal structure (alpha-MnO2), which has proved to be one of the most efficient catalysts to facilitate the charging of the Li-O-2 cell. Under the current synthetic approach, alpha-MnO2 was uniformly distributed onto the surface of a carbon support, without disrupting the porous structure at the surface of the carbon cathode. As a result, the as-prepared catalysts demonstrated good electrochemical behavior, with a capacity of similar to 1400 mA h g(-1) (carbon + electrocatalyst) under a current density of 100 mA g(-1) (carbon + electrocatalyst) during the initial discharge. The charge potential was significantly reduced, to 3.5-3.7 V, compared with most of the reported data, which are above 4.0 V. The mechanism of the capacity fade with cycling was also investigated by analyzing the cathode at different states of discharge-charge by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.

Abstract:Admitting that rare-earth (RE)-based transition metal oxides (TMO) are emerging as a promising catalyst for lithium-oxygen (Li-O 2 ) batteries, the understanding of their electrocatalytic mechanism and active sites remains ambiguous. In this study, CeO 2 nanoparticles modified MnOOH nanowires (CeO 2 @MnOOH NWs) is prepared by a simple solvothermal method as highly effective cathode catalysts for Li-O 2 batteries. The incorporation of CeO 2 nanoparticles into MnOOH facilitates a robust interaction between the 3 d electronic state of MnOOH and the 4 f electronic state of CeO 2 at the Fermi level ( E f ). The strong electron interaction at the heterogeneous interface between MnOOH and CeO 2 promotes internal electron transfer. Compared to pristine MnOOH, the prepared CeO 2 @MnOOH NWs exhibits enhanced electrocatalytic activity and improved electrocatalytic stability. According to experimental analysis and density functional theory (DFT) results, it is demonstrated that there is a slight negative shift in the d- band center of the Mn site, resulting in faster electron transfer rates and higher conductivity. This acceleration of charge transfer optimizes the adsorption strength of the oxygen-containing intermediate (LiO 2 ), thereby promoting the kinetics of the oxygen reduction/evolution reactions (ORR/OER) and reducting the reaction over-potential. As a result, the electrochemical performances of Li-O 2 batteries are greatly enhanced.

Au-nanocrystals-decorated Δ-Mno2 As an Efficient Catalytic Cathode for High-Performance Li-O2 Batteries.

Abstract:A Li-O2 battery works based on the reversible formation and decomposition of Li2O2, which is insulating and highly reactive. Designing a catalytic cathode capable of controlling Li2O2 growth recently became a challenge to overcome this barrier. In this work, we present a new design of catalytic cathode by growing porous Au/δ-MnO2 electrocatalyst directly on a conductive substrate. We found that Au/δ-MnO2 can catalyze the directed growth of Li2O2 into a thin/small form, only inside porous δ-MnO2, and along the surface of δ-MnO2 sheets. We proposed the catalytic mechanism of Au/δ-MnO2, where Au plays a critical role in catalyzing the nucleation, crystallization and conformal growth of Li2O2 on δ-MnO2 sheets. Li-O2 batteries with an Au/δ-MnO2 catalytic cathode showed excellent electrochemical performance due to this favorable Li2O2 growth habit. The battery yielded a high capacity of 10,600 mA h g(-1) with a low polarization of 0.91 V at 100 mA g(-1). Superior cycling stability could be achieved in both capacity-limited (500 mA h g(-1), 165 times at 400 mA g(-1)) and unlimited (ca. 3000 mA h g(-1), 50 cycles at 800 mA g(-1)) modes.

Abstract:The NiCo2O4@CeO2 electrocatalyst possesses a special porous urchin‐like structure. It exhibits excellent electrochemical performance in Li–O2 batteries. The overpotential is only 1.07 V and it has a highly long life of 400 cycles under a current density of 500 mA g−1. In addition, the enhanced mechanism of electrochemical performance is clarified by density functional theory calculations.The large overpotential and poor cycle stability caused by inactive redox reactions are tough challenges for lithium–oxygen batteries (LOBs). Here, a composite microsphere material comprising NiCo2O4@CeO2 is synthesized via a hydrothermal approach followed by an annealing processing, which is acted as a high performance electrocatalyst for LOBs. The unique microstructured catalyst can provide enough catalytic surface to facilitate the barrier‐free transport of oxygen as well as lithium ions. In addition, the special microsphere and porous nanoneedles structure can effectively accelerate electrolyte penetration and the reversible formation and decomposition process of Li2O2, while the introduction of CeO2 can increase oxygen vacancies and optimize the electronic structure of NiCo2O4, thereby enhancing the electron transport of the whole electrode. This kind of catalytic cathode material can effectively reduce the overpotential to only 1.07 V with remarkable cycling stability of 400 loops under 500 mA g−1. Based on the density functional theory calculations, the origin of the enhanced electrochemical performance of NiCo2O4@CeO2 is clarified from the perspective of electronic structure and reaction kinetics. This work demonstrates the high efficiency of NiCo2O4@CeO2 as an electrocatalyst and confirms the contribution of the current design concept to the development of LOBs cathode materials.

MnOx as Electrocatalyst for Lithium Oxygen Batteries

Abstract:A series of manganese oxide nanorods are prepared as catalysts for lithium oxygen batteries. The dependence of discharge capacity and cycle performance on various manganese oxide catalysts is evaluated. It is found that high surface area of MnO2 catalyst can facilitate Li2O2 decomposition, so the cycling performance of the cell could be improved greatly. The clew-like γ-MnO2 catalyzed lithium oxygen cell is found with the highest reversible lithium storage capacity exceeding 2 350 mAh-g^-1 over 5 cycles even in a higher carbon loading condition, and specific capacity associated with the total mass of the cathode can be calculated as 1 175 mAh .g^-1 which is to be about ten times higher than that of the conventional lithium batteries. The performance of lithium oxygen batteries catalyzed by various MnOx is contrasted and catalyst failure mechanism is also discussed.

Abstract:A Li‐O2 battery is optimized by multiwalled carbon nanotubes, few layer graphene, and gold nano‐powder. The battery delivers 1000 mAh g−1 over 70 cycles, and the gold decreases the cell polarization boosting the lifespan. The combination of various carbons with catalysts is suitable architecture for hosting the Li‐O2 reaction products and allowing their reversible reaction. Lithium‐oxygen (Li‐O2) battery is considered a high‐energy alternative to Li‐ion one due its characteristic electrochemical conversion process, with the additional advantage of lower cost and environmental impact. However, this emerging battery still requires an enhancement of stability and lifespan to allow its use as a practical energy storage system. In this work we investigate an electrode material benefitting of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs), few layer graphene (FLG), and gold nano‐powder catalyst to improve the Li‐O2 battery performances in terms of energy efficiency, cycle life and stability. Morphological, structural, and electrochemical tests indicate that the composite electrode can actually boost the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER), and enhance the Li‐O2 process reversibility, with a capacity of 1000 mAh g−1 over 70 cycles. On the other hand, the tests reveal the role of the gold in decreasing the polarization and increasing the cell life. Therefore, the results suggest the combination of carbons with various morphologies as a suitable architecture for hosting the Li‐O2 reaction products and allowing their reversible reaction. On the other hand, the results highlight the necessity for a better tuning the noble metal characteristics to further enhance the cell performances.

Abstract:Metal-organic frameworks (2D MOFs) have great potential to improve the electrochemical performance of Li-O2 batteries with high O2 accessibility, the catalytic activity of the open active metal sites, and large specific surface areas. Herein, we prepared a 3D hierarchical ZrO2@NiCo2O4/GNS (ZNCO) framework as cathode catalysts in Li-O2 batteries that have been developed to synthesize with Zr/Ni to Co molar ratio of 0.1:1:2 by a facile hydrothermal method. The coating of foreign Zr4+ ions into the nickel cobaltite matrix, have superior oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) bifunctional activity, and allowed the formation of 3D dimensional networks for oxygen diffusion, electrolyte impregnation, and has very ORR/OER low overpotential due to Zr insertion. Moreover, the ZrO2 coated shell increases the electronic conductivity, porosity, specific surface area, and protects the core and interstitial decoration against lithium peroxide passivation (Li2O2). The electrochemical performance of the 3D hierarchical ZrO2@NiCo2O4/GNS nanocomposite delivers a higher discharge capacity of 9034 mAh g–1 at 50 mA g–1 and a superior cycling performance up to 100 cycles with a limited capacity of 1000 mAh g−1 at 100 mA g−1. An ORR/OER mechanism was suggested to illustrate the interesting growth of spherical-like particle and film-like Li2O2 deposits at the different cycles for the ZrO2@NiCo2O4/GNS cathodes. Such MOF-derived; hierarchical porous nanocomposites can lead to high-performance efficient bifunctional electrocatalysts and enables the formation and decomposition of discharge products (Li2O2) during the discharge-charge process.

Abstract:Li-O 2 battery(LOB) has an ultrahigh specific capacity(3500 W·h/kg), however, its slow kinetics of oxygen reduction reaction(ORR) and oxygen evolution reaction(OER) at cathode often leads to a high overpotential, a limited discharge capacity, and a poor cycling performance. Therefore, it is important to design and prepare cathode materials with a excellent catalytic activity. In this study, CeO 2 nanoparticles(NPs) supported on reduced graphene oxide(rGO) have been prepared and employed as cathode. Compared with either CeO 2 NPs or rGO, CeO 2 /rGO cathode greatly improves the discharge capacity(10644 mA·h/g at a current density of 100 mA/g) and the cycling performance(95 cycles at 200 mA/g with a limited capacity of 500 mA·h/g) by virtue of the good conductivity of rGO and the oxygen storage/release capability of CeO 2 .

Abstract:Li-O2 batteries with ultrahigh theoretical energy density have triggered worldwide research interests and hold the prospect for powering electric vehicles. However, the poor cycling stability and low energy efficiency of Li-O2 batteries still remain and hamper their practical application. Configuring desirable porous cathodes with uniformly dispersed and highly active catalysts is a noteworthy and feasible approach to overcoming these critical obstacles. Herein, we report on a novel strategy for the fabrication of Mn3O4 nanowires and carbon nanotubes composite film (Mn3O4/CNTs film) with ultrafine RuO2 nanoparticles (Mn3O4/CNTs-RuO2 film), in which the Mn3O4/CNTs film was employed as a conductive and porous matrix and extremely low amount of RuO2 (just 2.84 wt%) are uniformly dispersed onto this matrix by using atomic layer deposition method, and reveal its electrochemical behaviors as a free-standing air electrode for Li-O2 batteries. The Mn3O4/CNTs-RuO2 film delivers a high specific capacity, improved round-trip energy efficiency and ultra-long cycle life (251 cycles). The superior electrochemical performance can be attributed to the enhanced catalytic activity of the grafted RuO2 with modulated electronic structure as the result of the interaction with substrate, which is evidenced by the corresponding X-ray absorption spectroscopy results and the unique nanosheet-shaped discharge product which can be smoothly decomposed.
