Abstract:In this paper, we prove the C1,1-regularity of the plurisubharmonic envelope of a C1,1 function on a compact Hermitian manifold. We also present the examples to show this regularity is sharp.

Abstract:In this paper we study the regularity of closed, convex surfaces which achieve maximal affine area among all the closed, convex surfaces enclosed in a given domain in the Euclidean 3-space. We prove the C 1, α regularity for general domains and C 1,1 regularity if the domain is uniformly convex.

Abstract:In this paper we study the regularity and singularity of the mean curvature flow of closed, smooth, embedded hypersurfaces in the Euclidean space with positive mean curvature, with an attempt to understand the geometry of first time singularities. First we consider the mean curvature flow of graphs and convex hypersurfaces. Then we consider the special blow-up solutions at the maximal mean curvature points and obtain self-similar solutions at type I singularities and translating solutions at type II singularities. Finally we show that a general blow-up sequence converges along a subsequence to a convex limit flow, and give a classification of ancient convex solutions. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: 53C44, 53A10, 35J60.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the existence of various harmonic maps from Hermitian manifolds to Kaehler, Hermitian and Riemannian manifolds respectively. By using refined Bochner formulas on Hermitian (possibly non-Kaehler) manifolds, we derive new rigidity results on Hermitian harmonic maps from compact Hermitian manifolds to Riemannian manifolds, and we also obtain the complex analyticity of pluri-harmonic maps from compact complex manifolds to compact Kaehler manifolds (and Riemannian manifolds) with non-degenerate curvatures, which are analogous to several fundamental results in [28,Siu], [14,Jost-Yau] and [26, Sampson].
Rational curves on Hermitian manifolds

Abstract: By using analytic method, we prove that there exist rational curves on compact Hermitian manifolds with positive holomorphic bisectional curvature. It confirms a question of S.-T. Yau. It is well-known that Mori proved in \cite{Mori79} that every compact complex manifold $N$ with $c_1(N)>0$ contains at least one rational curve. However, as a borderline example, we show that the standard Hopf surface $S^1\times S^3$ has a Hermitian metric with non-negative holomorphic bisectional curvature (in particular, $c_1(S^1\times S^3)\geq 0$), but it contains no rational curve.

Abstract:In this paper, we generalize the Bochner-Kodaira formulas to the case of Hermitian complex (possibly non-holomorphic) vector bundles over compact Hermitian (possibly non-Kähler) manifolds. As applications, we get the complex analyticity of harmonic maps between compact Hermitian manifolds.

Abstract:The exploration of shape metamorphism, surface reconstruction, and image interpolation raises fundamental inquiries concerning the $C^1$ and higher-order regularity of $\infty$-harmonic potentials -- a specialized category of $\infty$-harmonic functions. Additionally, it prompts questions regarding their corresponding approximations using $p$-harmonic potentials. It is worth noting that establishing $C^1$ and higher-order regularity for $\infty$-harmonic functions remains a central concern within the realm of $\infty$-Laplace equations and $L^\infty$-variational problems. In this study, we investigate the regularity properties from $p$-harmonic potentials to $\infty$-harmonic potentials within arbitrary convex ring domains $\Omega=\Omega_0\backslash \overline \Omega_1$ in $\mathbb R^n$. Here $\Omega_0$ is a bounded convex domain in $\mathbb R^n$ and $\overline\Omega_1\subset \Omega_0$ is a compact convex set. We prove the interior $C^1$ and some Sobolev regularity for $\infty$-harmonic potentials.

Abstract:In this paper we study Hölder continuity of the pluricomplex Green function with logarithmic growth at infinity of a smooth generic submanifold of $\C^n$. In particular we prove that the pluricomplex Green function of any $C^2$-smooth generic compact submanifold of $\C^n$ (without boundary) is Lipschitz continuous in $\C^n$.

We show optimal regularity for geodesics joining two smooth strictly convex functions. We also investigate the regularity theory in the $C^{1,\alpha}$ realm. Finally we discuss the regularity of geodesics joining two toric strictly plurisubharmonic functions.

Abstract:In this paper, we studied the regularity problem for harmonic maps into hyperbolic spaces with prescribed singularities along codimension two submanifolds. This is motivated from one of Hawking's conjectures on the uniqueness of Kerr solutions among all axially symmetric asymptotically flat stationary solutions to the vacuum Einstein equation in general relativity.

Abstract:We prove a C-1,C-1 estimate for solutions of complex Monge-Ampere equations on compact almost Hermitian manifolds. Using this C-1,C-1 estimate, we show the existence of C-1,C-1 solutions to the degenerate Monge-Ampere equations, the corresponding Dirichlet problems and the singular Monge-Ampere equations. We also study the singularities of the pluricomplex Green's function. In addition, the proof of the above C-1,C-1 estimate is valid for a kind of complex Monge-Ampere-type equation. As a geometric application, we prove the C-1,C-1 regularity of geodesics in the space of Sasakian metrics.

Abstract:This little note is devoted to refining the almost optimal regularity results of Breiner and Lamm \cite{Breiner-Lamm-2015} on minimizing and stationary biharmonic maps via the powerful quantitative stratification method introduced by Cheeger and Naber \cite{Cheeger-Naber-2013} and further developed by Naber and Valtorta \cite{Naber-V-2017,Naber-V-2018} for harmonic maps. In particular, we obtain an optimal regularity results for minimizing biharmonic maps.
