Abstract:It is of great importance for the effect of temperature variation on the stress distribution of concrete in a real environment.The gradient of temperature is one of the important factors to cause cracking of concrete.By analyzing the mesoscale properties of thermal conduction in concrete,the effect of the non-homogeneous characteristic of concrete on the thermal conduction process is discussed.Assuming that the concrete is described as a three-phase composite consisting of the coarse aggregate,cement mortar and the interfacial transition zone between them,the mesoscale lattice network model by means of the Voronoi diagram technology is a kind of new method to simulate the thermal conduction process.Based on the nonlinear equation of thermal conduction,which is discretized by the Galerkin weighted residual and finite difference method,the mesoscale lattice network model is used to carry out the numerical simulation of thermal conduction,taking mortar and the granite for examples.Numerical analysis results showed that the mesoscale lattice network model of concrete can effectively present the thermal conduction and reasonably predict the temperature distribution of internal concrete.
