Thoughts on Development of Ethnic Adult Higher Education in the Time of Globalization

Abstract:Ethnic adult higher eduction in China has gone through the stages of eliminating illiteracy and formal schooling education since the founding of the People’s Republic of China. At present it is being transformed into the stage of continuing education. In order to adapt ethnic adult higher eduction for this transformation,studies should be made on the existing problems by using human capital theory,and important relations should be appropriately handled in the developing process to ensure a healthy development of ethnic adult higher education and lay a solid foundation for the great-leap-forward development of ethnic regions.
