Abstract:The paper covered the self-assessment practices of the hospital in the new round of accreditation.These include principles of Promoting hospital development and reform,and Balancing accreditation and development,Emphasizing Quality,Safety,Service,Management,and Performance,Centering on patients,and Focusing on Quality of Care and Medical Care Performance.The hospital adopted such means as enhancing hospital internal development,building the hospital-department twotier management responsibility system,upgrading quality of care and safety,and promoting sustainable development.The self-assessment has improved and tested the construction of quality control system of the hospital,while a better system further supports the accreditation of the hospital on the other hand.

Abstract:The innovational theory of Peri-accreditation of hospital evaluation was developed and the practice experience of Hainan was systematic summarized.The effectiveness was evaluated by quantitative and qualitative methods before and after the application of the theory,and the result showed that the quality of medical care and patient safe were significantly improved by the application of peri-accreditation of hospital evaluation.Policy recommendations were proposed for the new round of hospital accreditation based on theory of peri-accreditation.

Abstract:The hospital the authom work with, the first one to undergo the second-cycle nation-wide hospital evaluation, was assessed by a third party and the hospital evaluation experts. The two cycles of hospital evaluation were entirely different in historical background, priorities and procedures. The evaluation standards for the second cycle, which were on a par with internafional ones, set the right track of development for medical institutions, emphasizing quality, security, service and performance and highlighting the delivery of quality patient care. The gains from the second-cycle hospital evaluation can be summarized as follows: more highly emphasized continuous improvement of service quality, enhanced awareness of people-oriented management, reinforced medical quality and medical security control, heightened hospital infection control, greater capability of responding to emergencies, and strengthened for-malation of hospital rules and regulations. In the end five suggestions are put forward with regard to the second-cycle hospital evaluation.

Abstract:With the rapid acceleration of changes being experienced throughout the world and in particular within health and health and social care, accreditation programmes must keep pace or go the way of the dinosaur. While accreditation has deep roots in some countries, in the past 30 years, it has spread to a considerably larger range of countries in a mix of mandatory and voluntary systems. Accreditation is a tool to improve the quality of healthcare and social care, and in particular, there is recent recognition of its value in low- and middle-income countries, with promotion by the World Health Organization (WHO). The challenge is that with the rapid pace of change, how does accreditation reframe and reposition itself to ensure relevance in 2030? Accreditation must adapt and be relevant in order to be sustainable. This article outlines the fundamental principles, reviews the global trends' impact on accreditation and the challenges with the existing model and, through the lens of living in 2030, outlines how accreditation programmes will be structured and applied 10 years from now.

Abstract:This paper evaluated the implementation of the "action plan for further improvement of medical services in the tertiary-grade hospitals" from 2016 to 2017 in China. The results showed that the overall progress of the action plan in the sample hospitals was good, however, the scores of the medical quality and safety related dimensions were fairly low. It is necessary to work harder to carry out the project and new items step by step in three years. Comprehensive measures shall be taken to construct a harmonious doctor-patient relationship, and the charac-teristics of traditional Chinese medicine hospitals shall be emphasized in the evaluation.
