Abstract:On the basis of traditional techniques on bootloader in the calibration system,the time performance and relevant factors of downloading were analyzed.A new multi-ECUs downloading mode was designed to solve the problems of time efficiency during time-sharing downloading process.Based on the universal measurement and calibration protocol(XCP),parts of the commands were extended.By assigning indexes to target electronic control units(ECUs) and setting priorities,the efficiency of the communication bus is improved greatly and the time of downloading and programming is saved.During the downloading process,the master can continuously issue programming commands,without having to spend time waiting for the results returned,which greatly improving the bus utilization efficiency,thus saving the download programming time.Theoretical analysis and experimental results agree well.This method can significantly reduce the programming time,without causing interference with the feedback in the ECUs,so it fully meets the requirement in the development of the actual engine and vehicle research process.
