Treatment of early postoperative inflammatory bowel obstruction with combination of TCM and Western medicine:a report of 32 cases

Abstract:Objective To explore the value of treatment with the combination of Chinese and Western medicine in early postoperative inflammatory bowel obstrution.Method The clinical features of 32 cases of early postoperative inflammatory ileus treated in our department were analyze retrospectively,in the general treatment of intestinal obstruction while supplemented by traditional Chinese medicine.Results The 32 patients were treated by decompression,anti-inflammation,somatostain,adrenal cortex hormone,total parenteral nutrition,and jointed with Chinese medicine treatment,ect.All of them were cured,and the average treatment time was 14 days,without intestinal necrosis.Conclusion It′s effective that early postoperative inflammation ileus adopted with conservative treatment by the mean of combining Chinese and Western medicine.
