Preparation of Flue Gas Desulfurater by Mechanochemical Effect

Abstract:SO2 in flue gas is a main reason of the acid rain,it extremely disserves the earth,human and environment.In 1990s,some scientists had prepared an effective desulfurater with fly ash and CaO by hydrate synthesis process,however this process needs long time and relatively high temperature(12～15h,90℃),the economic benefit is low,and the operation is relatively difficult.In this study,Ca54MgAl2Si16O90 desulfurater was prepared with the fly ash and CaO,through the mechanochemical effect caused by 4 hours of milling.The desulfurater had a higher desulphurization activity in 30℃ condition than that fabricated by the hydrate synthesis process of same time.
