Abstract:In an era when knowledge economy is making a big step forward, the function of the economicvalue of science and technology has been well understood. This paper, however starting from a viewpointof science history, puts emphasis on man's self-realization, evolvement of knowledge pattern and change ofmoral attitudes. It discusses the value of science and technology as regards human thinking and points outthat they plays an important role in this respect.
