Abstract:While enjoying the blessings brought about by science and technology, humanity suffers from the tense relationships among man, nature (natural ecology) and society (social ecology) which arise from the alienation of scientific knowledge in industrial civilization. This era calls for an ecology characterized by harmony, reverence for life and sustainable development. A harmonious relationship among people, nature and society can surely accelerate the progress of human civilization.
