TECHNOLOGY, SCIENCE AND SPIRITUALITY IN THE 21ST CENTURY: A PHILOSOPHICAL ANALYSIS

Abstract:The spontaneous, uncontrolled process of the development of technology, the transformation of modern science from the field of world research into an auxiliary means of maintaining technology, the loss of the spiritual image of a modern scientist as a selfless seeker of truth, raised the question of the study of the relationship between science and technology and the spirituality of humanity, as the main source of overcoming deviations development of man-made civilization. Considering various aspects of the relationship between spirituality and science and technology, the authors distinguish anthropological, acmeological and existential direction of interaction. The anthropological direction, which reveals the nature of the connection of spirituality, science and technology with the activity of the human brain, contains a cathartic, intellectual and moral aspect, aimed at the formation by means of modern education of a person who strives for scientific discovery, active application of the mind, overcoming manifestations of egocentrism , which affect the development of production and technology. Within the acmeological direction, the problem of choosing a modern development strategy, achieving the level of planetary and space civilization is considered. The existential direction is connected with the awareness of the crisis nature of the modern era, the main measures to preserve the Mind in the universe.
