Abstract:As the mode of human life,technology is naturally one dimensional.Since the Industrial Revolution,one dimensional modern technology behaves further aggressively beyond necessary control and limits.In contrast to this,by emphasizing the quality of pity,weakness and yielding,Laozi advocates a two dimensional mode of technology.Following this mode,we should change our self-centralistical way of understanding the world,give full consideration to the natural characters and inherent desires of other things and other people,and assist them to develop themselves voluntarily,but not forcefully change what they are and will be of themselves.
