Reusable Component in Developing MIS of Roll Steel Mill

Abstract:Component-based software development is the most promising way in software development at present. Under the background of actual MIS project of one roll steel mill, this paper presents the application of reusable component technique in MIS development. It includes:①The operations of the mill can be broken into basic process units and basic work models. ② A new application oriented method for building reusable component library is put forward, which ensures both high reusable measurement of reusable component and high indexical measurement of reusable component library, and overcomes the conflict of them. ③A large-scale MIS system has been developed quickly for one roll steel mill, where the reusable component technique has been fully used.
