Abstract:We present here a further investigation for the classical Frobenius–Euler polynomials. By making use of the generating function methods and summation transform techniques, we establish some summation formulas for the products of an arbitrary number of the classical Frobenius–Euler polynomials. The results presented here are generalizations of the corresponding known formulas for the classical Bernoulli polynomials and the classical Euler polynomials.

Abstract:The phenomenon of "numerical extraneous roots" of Euler's iteration has been found. By systematic searching, some polynomials and the corresponding initial values are given, which make the fixed points of Euler's iteration not the roots of the polynomials. For those repelling extraneous fixed points, the adjoint dynamical types of Sullivan's basins are also studied. Finally, the fractal pictures are produced.

Abstract:where / ( / ) is a differentiate function defined on the real number interval [a, b), and x may be a real or complex number with x*0 and x*l. Obviously, the case for x = l of (1.1) could be generally treated by means of the well-known Euler-Maclaurin summation formula. The object of this paper is to find a general summation formula for (1.1) that could be applied readily to some interesting special cases, e.g., those with f{i)-t (2 ei?), / ( / ) = logf (V>1), and f(t) = q (0<q<l)9 respectively. Related results will be presented in Sections 3-5. Recall that for the particular case f(t) = t and [a, b) = [0, oo) with/? being a positive integer, we have the classical result (cf. [1], [2], [4])

Abstract:In the year 2014, Kim et al. computed a kind of new sums of the products of an arbitrary number of the classical Bernoulli and Euler polynomials by using the Euler basis for the vector space of polynomials of bounded degree. Inspired by their work, in this paper, we establish some new formulas for such a kind of sums of the products of an arbitrary number of the Apostol-Bernoulli, Euler, and Genocchi polynomials by making use of the generating function methods and summation transform techniques. The results derived here are generalizations of the corresponding known formulas involving the classical Bernoulli, Euler, and Genocchi polynomials.

Abstract:The aim of this paper is to prove several explicit formulas associated with the Frobenius-type Eulerian polynomials in terms of the weighted Stirling numbers of the second kind. As a consequence, we derive an explicit formula for the tangent numbers of higher order. We also give a recursive method for the calculation of the Frobenius-type Eulerian numbers and polynomials.

Abstract:In this paper, we first introduce a new family of polynomials, which are called the truncated-exponential based Frobenius–Euler polynomials, based upon an exponential generating function. By making use of this exponential generating function, we obtain their several new properties and explicit summation formulas. Finally, we consider the truncated-exponential based Apostol-type Frobenius–Euler polynomials and their quasi-monomial properties.

Abstract:The aim of this paper is to apply trigonometric functions with functional equations of generating functions. Using the resulted new equations and formulas from this application, we obtain many special numbers and polynomials such as the Stirling numbers, Bernoulli and Euler type numbers, the array polynomials, the Catalan numbers, and the central factorial numbers. We then introduce combinatorial sums related to these special numbers and polynomials. Moreover, we gave some remarks that relates our new findings from this paper to the relations found in earlier studies.

Abstract:Let $A=(a_1, a_2, ..., a_n)$ be relative prime positive integers with $a_i\geq 2$. The Frobenius number $g(A)$ is the greatest integer not belonging to the set $\big\{ \sum_{i=1}^na_ix_i\ |x_i\in \mathbb{N}\big\}$. The general Frobenius problem includes the determination of $g(A)$ and the related Sylvester number $n(A)$ and Sylvester sum $s(A)$. We present a new approach to the Frobenius problem. Basically, we transform the problem into an easier optimization problem. If the new problem can be solved explicitly, then we will be able to obtain a formula of $g(A)$. We illustrate the idea by giving concise proof of some existing formulas and finding some interesting new formulas of $g(A), n(A), s(A)$. Moreover, we find that MacMahon's partition analysis applies to give a new way of calculating $n(A), s(A)$ by using a rational function representation of a polynomial determined by $A$.

Abstract:Denote by $\Sigma n^m$ the sum of the $m$-th powers of the first $n$ positive integers $1^m+2^m+\ldots +n^m$. Similarly let $\Sigma^r n^m$ be the $r$-fold sum of the $m$-th powers of the first $n$ positive integers, defined such that $\Sigma^0 n^{m}=n^m$, and then recursively by $\Sigma^{r+1} n^{m}=\Sigma^{r} 1^{m}+\Sigma^{r} 2^{m}+\ldots + \Sigma^{r} n^{m}$. During the early 17th-century, polynomial expressions for the sums $\Sigma^r n^m$ and their factorisation and polynomial basis representation properties were examined by Johann Faulhaber, who published some remarkable theorems relating to these $r$-fold sums in his Academia Algebrae (1631). In this paper we consider families of polynomials related to the Fibonacci and Lucas polynomials which naturally lend themselves to representing sums and differences of integer powers, as well as $\Sigma^r n^m$. Using summations over polynomial basis representations for monomials we generalise this sum for any polynomial $q(x)\in\mathbb{Q}[x]$, encountering some interesting coefficient families in the process. Other results include using our polynomial expressions to state some theorems of Fermat, where in particular, we obtain an explicit expression for the quotient in Fermat's Little Theorem. In the final two sections we examine these sums in the context of the three pairs of Stirling number varieties and binomial decompositions. We also derive an expression for $\Sigma n^m$ in terms of the Stirling numbers and Pochhammer symbols, leading to a seemingly new relation between the Stirling numbers and the Bernoulli numbers.
On Frobenius Formulas of Power Sequences

Abstract:Let $A=(a_1, a_2, \ldots, a_n)$ be a sequence of relative prime integers, each greater than or equal to 2. The Frobenius number $g(A)$ represents the largest integer that cannot be expressed as a nonnegative linear combination of the elements in $A$. Our recent work has introduced a combinatorial method for calculating $g(A)$ in the specific form $A=(a, a+B)=(a, a+b_1, \ldots, a+b_k)$. This method reduces the problem to a simpler optimization problem, denoted as $O_B(M)$. In this paper, we apply this method to solve the open problem of characterizing $g(A)$ for the square sequence $A=(a,a+1,a+2^2,\ldots, a+k^2)$. We demonstrate that the Frobenius number $g(a, a+1^2, a+2^2, \ldots)$ for the infinite square sequence admits a simpler solution. This is because the corresponding optimization problem, $O_B(M)$, can be solved by applying number-theoretic principles, specifically Lagrange's Four-Square Theorem and related results. Consequently, we are able to resolve the open problem by utilizing Lagrange's Four-Square Theorem in conjunction with generating functions.

Abstract:In this paper, by using the Golden Calculus, we introduce the generalized Apostol-type Frobenius–Euler–Fibonacci polynomials and numbers; additionally, we obtain various fundamental identities and properties associated with these polynomials and numbers, such as summation theorems, difference equations, derivative properties, recurrence relations, and more. Subsequently, we present summation formulas, Stirling–Fibonacci numbers of the second kind, and relationships for these polynomials and numbers. Finally, we define the new family of the generalized Apostol-type Frobenius–Euler–Fibonacci matrix and obtain some factorizations of this newly established matrix. Using Mathematica, the computational formulae and graphical representation for the mentioned polynomials are obtained.

Product formulas for the Higher Bessel functions

Abstract:We consider the generating function $\Phi^{(N)}$ for the reciprocals $N$-th power of factorials. We show a connection of product formulas for such series with the periods for certain families of algebraic hypersurfaces. For these families we describe their singular loci. We show that these singular loci are given by zeros of the Buchstaber-Rees polynomials, which define $N$-valued group laws. We describe a generalized Frobenius method and use it to obtain special expansions for multiplication kernels in the sense of Kontsevich. Using these expansions we provide some experimental results that connect $N$-Bessel kernels and the hierarchies of the palindromic unimodal polynomials. We study the properties of such polynomials and conjecture positivity of their roots. We also discuss the connection with Kloosterman motives as a version of the mirror duality.
