Sensing technology of optical fiber F-P and its engineering applications

Abstract:Fiber strain sensor based on principle of F-P interference technology,has been one of the optical sensors which are developing rapdily in recent years.The existing research results are integrated,the working principle of F-P interferometer is introduced,which includes intrinsic and extrinsic F-P sensors and other strain sensors based on F-P,and demodulation algorithm of interferential cavity length,types of FFPI sensors and applications of FFPI sensing technology in structure strain monitoring and its related problems and development direction.
