Abstract:Instead of traditional power control system which is unreliable, a soft-switch power control system based on DSP(TMS320VC5402) is designed and realized using digital control method. Experiments show that the system can satisfy the requirements of reliability and real-time control.

Abstract:This paper introduces the elements and the design's method of the switchmode power supplies based on DSP. It also expounds how to implement PWM waveform in the switchmode power supplies such as the SPWM waveform generated by the TMS320F2810. Simulation results show that the switchmode power supplies can be steady quickly; its distortion is very little; the load influences the system much less.

Abstract:An approach for the design of a digital controller for single-phase Boost PFC is presented, which is performed by means of a standard DSP (TMS320LF2407). One main problem to implement digital control for power factor correction is the limited switching frequency due to the limited processor speed. An improved algorithm for PFC is proposed to overcome this problem. The main advantage of this method is that the CPU time requirement can be reduced, because the input voltage sampling, the output voltage sampling and most calculations can be accomplished in several switching cycles. Experimental results on a 500 W single-phase boost PFC converter show the effectiveness of the proposed solution, which demonstrate that the proposed strategy for PFC achieves unity input power factor with higher switching frequency than commonly used average current mode control.

Abstract:With the development of the computer technology and digital signal processing technology, virtual technology has become popular. Application of virtual technology in control domain is called virtual device. To verify the effect of the controller, on the basis of system model, the virtual device with approximate input-output characteristics is employed for the system's real-time simulation, achieving the aim of reducing on-spot debugging, enhancing controller's security and improving effect. This paper presents hardware and software designs of a virtual device using DSP chip-TMS320F240, TI Com. and verifies the simulation effect of virtual device through application example.

Abstract:Because of the drawbacks of itself and in order to substitute the conventional motor power supply system finally,a new experimental system based on DSP has been presented.The new system uses the DSP(TMS320F2812) to sample and process the real-time data,applies the technology of SPWM and double-loops control to get a well dynamic and static-state performance,and the double-loops consist of the capacitance voltage and capacitance current.The simulation and experiment results prove the design is reasonable.

Abstract:Power electronic converters have various kinds of control platforms. Based on a special-purpose control platform with dual Digital Signal Processor-DSPs (TMS320LF2407) for a high power converter, this paper describes the design method of a general-purpose control platform. The control platform uses a fixed-point DSP (TMS320F2812) and a floating-point DSP (TMS320VC33). Using matlab real-time workshop (RTW), the general-purpose control platform was tested and the modularized software was designed. Experimental results validate the correctness and feasibility of the methods and that the general-purpose control platform satisfies the design targets.

Abstract:A new communication technology solution that Power-line communication system based on principle of Software Defined Radio is put forward. First, the paper introduces the principle of SDR. Second, the system of hardware platform based on DSP TMS320F2812 is given and we achieve all communication links by using flexible software language on the platform. Through field tests it is proved that the device has high efficiency and flexibility of communication. The complexity and high failure rate of structure is reduced effectively and other shortcomings also have been overcome.

Abstract:A universal power quality control system is proposed,aiming at the gradual promotion in requirements for power quality controllers'performance and universality.DSP TMS320F2812 and FPGA Cyclone II EP2C20 are selected as the dual-core of the proposed control system.Hardware structure and operation are proposed,architecture of the main control board and the protection board,main functions and signal procession are introduced.Software operation and flow chart of the subprograms are described.The system is adopted to an APF and a harmonic current program-mer,experimental results verify its accuracy and reliability.With sufficient interface ports,the control system is suit-able for most common power quality controllers.The control system is worth to widespread in industrial applications.

Abstract:A full digital control of AC/AC power supply based on DSP is presented in the paper. The principle, structure, control circuits, software procedure design and realizing method of the power supply are given. Abstract:The proposed experimental system uses TMS320F28027 as the control core to realize the functions of maximum power point tracking (MPPT), synchronizing of the output voltage with the given frequency and phase, under voltage and over current protection, under voltage recovery and others. The topology of the main circuit is a full bridge inverter controlled by the unipolar sinusoidal pulse-width-modulation (SPWM) strategy. The MPPT is implemented using the constant input voltage method. Phase tracking is achieved using a software phase lock loop (PLL). The tested results show that the system has perfect performances, such as high efficiency, low grid-connected total harmonic distortion (THD), excellent tracking performance, consummate over-current (OVC) and under-voltage protections (UVP).

Abstract:Series power quality controller (SPQC) is an advanced power electronics device to improve the power quality of supply utility. A fully-digital control system based on digital signal processor (DSP) has been developed to implement the real-time control of series power quality controller, and a high-speed generating algorithm of space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) was proposed, which is easy implemented with fixed-point DSP. It can be verified by fully experimental results that the developed digital control system works well, and all involved algorithms are effective to compensate the power quality problems of supply side voltage.

Abstract:TMS320F28027 is used in the system as the control core to simulation the functions of maximum power point tracking (MPPT), frequency and phase synchronization, under voltage and over current protection, automative recovery of under voltage and so on. The relative voltage error is less than 0.7% for MPPT. The relative frequency error is less than 0.09%. The phase error is approximately 2°. The THD of the output voltage is less than 2%. The efficiency of this device is over 84%.

Abstract:In order to effectively accomplish control and detection of magnetic-valve controllable reactor(MCR),a control system with digital signal processing(DSP) and ARM as the core was designed.Load current and voltage was sampled,and the reactive power for compensation was gotten,and through dq algorithm thyristor trigger pulse which adjusted MCR reactive power output was generated by DSP.Human-machine interface system for users was established based on ARM to set the system operating parameters,view the system operating datas,record and access failures.Experimental results show that the system is reliable and practical.
