Abstract:This paper presents a control strategy of multiple-frequency SPWM in verter incorporated in power network,and presents a voltage single-phase full -bridge grid-connected inverter which adopted TMS320LF2407 of TI company and indirect current control based on voltage vector.The unit power factor of the i nverter was realized and the energy unidirec-tional flow,i.e. the energy flow only from inverter to power net,so the inverter power device′s damage form en ergy flow backward was avoided. This scheme have simple control, good stability, and have particular application fields.
A Novel Neutral Current Control Strategy for the Three-Phase Four-Wire Boost PFC Converter

Abstract:For higher power application, the six-switch three-phase boost rectifier is a preferred topology. Compared with three-phase three-wire boost rectifier, the three-phase four-wire input rectifier is more usually used in uninterrupted power supply (UPS) systems to prevent the load neutral from floating. In this paper, the four-wire input boost PFC rectifier is modeled and analyzed; the origin of the neutral current is analyzed; a novel rotating d-q-0 synchronous frame based space vector PWM control strategy is introduced to minimize neutral current. With this control strategy, the DC-link voltage is controlled constant and balanced. The three-phase input current is sinusoidal with a unity power factor. This control strategy can be used in the four-wire input AC/DC/AC converter and active power filter. A 40 kVA DSP (TMS320F2407A) controlled three-phase four-wire boost PFC rectifier prototype circuit is built to examine the character and verify the validity of the control strategy.

Abstract:To meet the requirement of control performance in distributed generation(DG),a robust controller based on error space method is proposed,and applied to the grid-connected inverter.Based on the modern control theory,the system tracking error is considered as the state variable.To make the output error tend to zero is the control of this controller.Compared to the traditional control methods,even in the condition of fluctuation or distortion of grid-voltage,the zero steady-state error to track the sine command can also be guaranteed with robust control,the phase shifting of the output current can be eliminated,and the united power factor can be achieved.The power quality of the mains is improved.A parameter design procedure is then discussed based on theoretical analysis.TMS320F2808 DSP of corporation is used to found the digital control platform.Experimental results of a 5 kW experimental prototype show the validity of the theoretical and simulation analysis.

Abstract:This paper proposes a novel control strategy for grid-connected voltage source inverters (VSI) with an LCL-filter. The strategy "split" the capacitor of LCL-filter into two parts, and the current flowing between these two parts is measured and used as the feedback of a current regulator to stabilize and improve the system performances. By this way, the inverter control system is simplified from third-order to first-order, and the close loop control system can easily be optimized for minimum steady-state error and current harmonic distortion. The characteristics of the inverter system with the proposed controller are investigated and compared with the traditional strategy. Simulations results are provided, and the new current control strategy has been experimentally tested on a 5kW fuel cell inverter.

Abstract:The basic principle of parallel inverters without interconnection wires in an AC distributed systems is analysed,and a novel control method for parallel inverters based on phase adjustment is presented.The proposed control technique is effective in maintaining the voltage frequency invariant in steady state,it also ensures good dynamic performance.Analysis based on the root locus and the design approach of the control parameters are presented.Considering the characteristics of the digital controller and phase adjustment method,methods to increase the regulation accuracy and eliminate zero distortion are also given.Experimental results validate the feasibility and validity of the proposed strategy.

Abstract:The proposed experimental system uses TMS320F28027 as the control core to realize the functions of maximum power point tracking (MPPT), synchronizing of the output voltage with the given frequency and phase, under voltage and over current protection, under voltage recovery and others. The topology of the main circuit is a full bridge inverter controlled by the unipolar sinusoidal pulse-width-modulation (SPWM) strategy. The MPPT is implemented using the constant input voltage method. Phase tracking is achieved using a software phase lock loop (PLL). The tested results show that the system has perfect performances, such as high efficiency, low grid-connected total harmonic distortion (THD), excellent tracking performance, consummate over-current (OVC) and under-voltage protections (UVP).

Abstract:As an essential interface between the photovoltaic (PV) panels and the utility grid, solar PV inverters are responsible for converting intermittent solar energy to meet the utility grid requirement, where the inverter output should be synchronized with the grid voltage in terms of phase frequency and amplitude. in addition, considering system cost, conversion efficiency, power quality, and reliability of the grid connected PV system, the control strategy of solar inverters should be carefully designed. Regarding grid-connected solar inverters, the basic control strategies include a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm (i.e., increasing efficiency and maximizing the energy harvesting), a DC-link voltage control, and a grid-connected current control (i.e., responsible for the power injection and current quality). In this chapter, the model of PV modules and a few typical MPPT methods are briefly introduced. Then, the DC-link voltage control and grid-connected current control are presented for the single-phase and three-phase solar inverters, respectively.

Abstract:This paper presents the analysis and research of a fully digital control design for a multiple-loop regulation of single-phase inverter. The digital control scheme incorporates an inner fast current loop with an outer slower voltage loop to eliminate the weakly dumped poles of the output LC filter. The inner current loop is added to improve the performance of transient response and decrease THD content. The output voltage and load current compensation are also added in the scheme to improve the performance and robust of system. The control system is implemented on DSP TMS320LF2407A. Both the simulation and experiment results show that the DSP-based multiple-loop controlled inverter can achieve excellent performance, and the multiple-loop control strategy is good for the control of inverter. © 2005 IEEE.

Abstract:The operation principle of the main circuit is briefly analyzed and the small-signal dynamic mathematic model is concluded. Based on the controller of TMS320LF2407A, control strategy for the isolated type PFC converter is analyzed in detail. Dual-closed-loop control strategy is adopted, furthermore, both excellent dynamic characteristic and steady modulating characteristic are achieved. Finally, an experimental prototype, whose PFC operation frequency is 110kHz, is built to verify the performance of the converter. Furthermore, PF value of full load is 0.995.

Abstract:This letter proposed an analog control strategy for a flyback microinverter, which can calculate the output power by multiplier-less power calculation circuit, while the maximum power point tracking is realized by controlling the maximum duty cycle of the main switch. The proposed analog control method is quite simple with low cost. It is applied with a 100-W single-phase microinverter in a discontinuous conduction mode, and the simulation and experimental results demonstrate its feasibility.

Abstract:A PWM control strategy which was suit for actively clamped resonant DC-Link inverter was presented by analyzing the work principle of the two amplitude control seriously.Meanwhile,by the DSP controller with the type of TMS320F2812,the control strategy was verified,and the main flow chart was given.At last,the result of the experiment shows that the PWM control strategy not only improves the precision of the actively clamped resonant DC-link inverter effectively,but also makes the output Voltage wave more steady.

Abstract:MFC710 inverter is a kind of high performance,vector control frequency converter.In this paper,the structure and circuit principle of voltage-source inverter is studied and a simulation study on induction motor's vector control algorithm based on TMS320LF2407A DSP as the main controller is made.Control system model is established and simulated in Matlab/Simulink after the mathematic model of three-phase asynchronous motor and the optimized vector control algorithm.The result of simulation which is composed of input line voltage,three-phase current,speed and motor torque is to show that the control system can obtain excellent static and dynamic characteristic.

Abstract:This paper presents an improved DSP-based control strategy with combined voltage and current for gird-connected voltage source inverters (VSIs). A predictive current control strategy in the inner loop and a fuzzy voltage control strategy in the outer loop are respectively discussed in detail. A new predictive current control expression is obtained, which calculates the inverter voltages required to force the output current to accurately follow the reference current. This algorithm can eliminate the steady-state phase error between the output and reference current, and compensate for the errors caused by sample delays and discretization computation, with a fixed switching frequency. And a fuzzy logic controller with 9 fuzzy levels and 41 fuzzy levels is applied, which can stabilize the DC bus voltage and overcome the systempsilas variability and nonlinearity. These characteristics are highly applicable to the alternative energy system, especially to the photovoltaic (PV) power system. Combining the advantages of the current prediction and voltage fuzzy control, the system robustness is enhanced and minimum current error, a unity power factor and low THD are achieved. At last, a 10 kW prototype of three-phase grid-connected VSI was built and the proposed dual-loop controller was implemented by DSP TMS320F2808. The experimental results verify the validity of the theoretical analysis in this paper.

Abstract:A two-loop control technique with regulation of filter capacitor-current for LC filter is introduced, which can realize load disturbance decoupling and improve dynamic and static performance of UPS output. At the same time, in order to compensate for instability of VDC, input voltage forward feedback is adopted. Both the frequency-domain and time-domain behavior of the proposed control scheme have been examined in this paper. An inverter control system based on DSP(TMS320LF2407A) was constructed to verify the control law. The results show that the output voltage of the controlled PWM inverter has little distortion even under rough load conditions.

Abstract:Power electronic devices usually place at normally open points of electricity distribution networks to provide flexible active and reactive power control. These open points are called soft open points (SOPs). In AC distribution networks, B2B multi-level converters share a common DC bus. This paper gives an application research on multi-level converters for SOPs. The research proposed a novel application with neutral-point potential (NPP) control on both sides of the SOP converter, so called SOP-based-NPP control. Branch current generalized model is used as the equivalent circuit of T-type three level converter (T3LIC) for analysis. As a result, an optimization strategy for recovering AC terminal frequency and DC capacitor voltage is proposed. Examples on a two-terminal SOP and three-phase AC distribution network are shown in the simulation results.
