Abstract:Social work for the disabled is the intervention of professional social work to the undertaking of the disabled. With characteristics of ethnics and rehabilitation value, the professional methods of social work for the disabled are social casework and social group work. Social work for the disabled intervenes with professional methods of "help people to help themselves", expands welfare projects of the disabled through professional techniques. It’s of great importance to social security and public service of the disabled. The social work for the disabled is a positive tool for expanding construction of two systems for the disabled and promoting undertakings for the disabled.

Abstract:The results of Monitoring report on disabled people’s situation and well-off progress in China in 2013 showed that the living conditions of the disabled people improved obviously in 2013. Notablely, income and rehabilitation service coverage increased quickly; the well-off process of the disabled people continued to move forward. These implied the new results of promoting the construction of social security system and service system for the disabled and the new changes in speeding up the undertakings for the disabled people. This paper also proposed suggestions on how to accelerate comprehensively well-off society for the disabled people.

Abstract:Centered around the social status of and social policy related to disabled people in China, this paper aims to analyze the unfair treatment disabled people in China face. The research shows that because of bias against disabled people and the lack of facilities for them, disabled people in China do not have equal human rights. To improve this situation, developing countries like China should not only promote equal rights for disabled people but also rehabilitate disabled people's self-esteem. The government should also eradicate negative stereotypes, such as immoral people punished by the god, of disabled people by educating young children the cause of disability in school and the old in the communities. Finally, compared with Western countries, China needs to build more facilities for the disabled. Introduction

Abstract:This paper presents a qualitative study of people with disabilities, focusing on issues of their social interaction and integration. Through interviews and participatory observations with a group of people with motor disabilities in China, we found that their perceived limited capabilities to reciprocate, or feelings of indebtedness, were among the main reasons that kept them from interacting with others. The study shows that ICT and communities of people with disabilities are valuable in relieving these issues, in that they provide means and opportunities for them to give help and in turn develop self-esteem, crucial for their social interaction and integration. Our study suggests providing ways for them to give and not simply receive help as an important means to support their social interaction and integration-in particular, by focusing on their abilities and communities, instead of disabilities and independence.

Abstract:Education,health and labor capability of the disabled people are legged behind.And their average income is remarkable lower than national average;many of them are still in poverty.Families who have to burden medical care and rehabilitation costs for disabled family members see much slower income increasing pace.The disable people and their families are the main helping groups to fulfill doubling per capita income in the next 10 years.There are three priorities to improve their living conditions: firstly,basic living for 1.8 million disabled people in urban and rural China;secondly,improving social security and service systems for the disabled and promote undertakings for the disabled,in order to implement requirements of the 18th National Congress of the CPC;thirdly,enhancing their self-developing ability,promoting employment and social participation to improve their living conditions and fulfill comprehensive development.In details,more efforts should be done in improve social security,employment and poverty reduction,etc.

Abstract:Along with economic and social development,social security services for the disabled should be transferred from type of relief,deficiency supply to welfare and inclusiveness.Based on basic needs of the disabled,the authors suggested that currently more efforts should be done in construction of living subsidy and caring subsidy mechanisms for the disabled.Then they discussed key links in mechanism designs. The paper raised some proposals based on previous analysis.It focused on function location,covering group and subsidy standards of subsidy system and established prediction models of receiving numbers and capital demand.It calculated data from Zhejiang Province as an example and provided operational references to government and related departments.

Abstract:With the development of special education, the education of exceptional children has also received more and more attention. Generally, the education and training of parents of special children brand behavioral intervention are keys to helping special children. The ecological theory of child development believes that parents are the critical factors influencing the development of exceptional children; children' learning occurs in the natural environment and runs through daily life activities. The family is the earliest environment for children, and parents are children's first teachers. Education must start from the family; the first person to build a bridge for children can only be parents.In China, the participation of parents of children with intellectual disabilities in their children's physical education has not received enough attention, and the physical education of most children with intellectual disabilities has not been fully implemented to address this phenomenon. This article uses literature methods, field surveys, expert interviews, data statistics, questionnaires, and other methods to research and investigate the attitudes, current situation, and approaches of parents of children with intellectual disabilities in Maoming City about how to participate in their children's physical education. It was found that there are constraints such as insufficient understanding of participation in children's physical education, low overall level of participation in children's physical education, participation in children's physical education as a formality, insufficient depth of participation, and traditional participation in children's physical education. This was discussed and proposed. Practical suggestions for modifications. This study is of great value in providing reference literature for developing family education for the mentally handicapped in the future. Abstract:The relevance of the research lies in the analysis of the problem of creating conditions for an accessible environment for physical activity and the manifestation of their capabilities in various aspects, the inclusion of people with disabilities in the active life of society. Involving people with disabilities in inclusive sports implies training and competitive activities, participation in events as part of a panel of judges, establishing communication, as well as, taking into account personal achievements, the opportunity to participate in international competitions in professional and Paralympic sports. The main idea of involving people with disabilities in physical culture and sports is not a struggle for victory and results, but uniting people with disabilities, expanding the boundaries of their capabilities and socializing in society - this is a very important aspect of the modern society development. This article examines currently important problem of socializing the disabled people in the field of physical culture and sports in competitive activities. Based on theoretical research methods, we studied and systematized the factors influencing the socialization of people with disabilities in physical activity. The article provides recommendations on how to organize work with people with disabilities, taking into account their physical and psychological conditions. Until today, the problems of this very significant group of people have been under insufficient attention. But, with the gradual development of the society towards greater humanization, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the World Program of Action for People with Disabilities and the UN Standard Rules on the implementation of equal opportunities for people with disabilities were developed and adopted. Most countries have also adopted laws that draws attention to the problems faced by people with disabilities.

Abstract:This article focuses on the Chinese traditional culture, specifically Confucian philosophy, and analyses four core concepts of Confucianism which include ‘ren’ (Benevolence), ‘Jun zi’ (Superior man), ‘Tian ming’ (heaven’s mandate), and ‘Xiao ti’ (Filial piety and fraternal love). Based on these core concepts, this study explores how social attitudes in China (and among Chinese people living in other countries) toward people with disabilities are formed and influenced by Confucian philosophy, and how they impact the education of people with disabilities. It suggests that the related social attitudes of sympathy, rights awareness, and criteria of success, especially school performance in this case, can have both positive and negative impacts on inclusive education for children with disabilities. Strategies are suggested for encouraging attitude change, when appropriate, in order to facilitate special education and inclusion and how to do so in a manner that is culturally respectful of the core beliefs based on Confucianism.
