Abstract:In order to solve the problems of applying OPC (OLE for process control) technology to remote supervision, this paper proposes a new framework of distributed fieldbus remote monitoring system based on the Windows DNA(distributed Internet applications architecture) developing model, which adopts the XML (extensible markup language) and SOAP (simple object access protocol) technology as communication mechanism of distributed components. This new framework not only has a favorable extension ability, but also solves the problems appearing in traditional monitoring systems and makes fieldbus remote supervision possible.

Abstract:Web Services are self-contained, modular applications that can be described, published, located, and invoked over a network, generally, the Web. Yet the problem emerges as different Web Services interoperate each other. In this paper we recommend the Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP)[1] as the communication standard in the Web Services Architecture to solve the problem.First, we describe what is Web Services and present the architecture of it. Then, according to the challenge that Web Services faces, we address the key enabling technologies of which SOAP be composed. SOAP has many advantages that other binary protocols, such as Java RMI, do not have. Finally, by introducing an E-business model based on the integration of SOAP, UDDI [2], MQ [3] etc., we show the manner and flow of SOAP to implement Web Services architecture.

Abstract:SOAP is a new generation distributed computing protocol on Internet. After analyzing traditional distributed objects based mobile agent systems, this paper introduces the approach to developing mobile agent systems based on the SOAP protocol, proposes the architecture of the mobile agent system based on SOAP, and presents the implementation techniques based on NET platform, including the migration mechanism, the communication mechanism based on SOAP, the message presentation based on XML, the interoperation support of Web services, etc. Such a system has better flexibility and expansibility, and is suitable for loosely coupled Web-based computing environments.

Abstract:XML(eXtensible Markup Language)has been recognized as a standard for data exchange over the Internet. The SOAP(simple object access protocol) is a platform-independent protocol for the exchange of information in the distributed and heterogeneous environment. In this paper, a cross-platform web collaborative environment is constructed to deal with the problems of collaborative work among inhomogeneous platforms. And the collaborative workflows of processes are explained in detail simultaneously. Finally, the implementation of this collaborative environment is also illuminated based on Java language, SOAP, basic transmission protocol (HTTP) and component technology.

Abstract:The architecture of Web Service and SOAP protocol were studied, and the main steps to build and apply Web Service in the Internet applications were provided in this paper. Based on OPEN-CLASS, which is a distributed long-distance learning system built on Web Services techniques, a RSRM (Resources, Services, Roles and Methods) model was presented and formalized to solve the problem of the software component reused under web environment. Abstract:Aiming at continuous growth of data transmission in the enterprise network,and for the purpose of decreasing bandwidth occupation and improving the transmitting performance of the network,the main influence factors of network performance,their corresponding solutions and data compressing methods are comprehensively analyzed and compared in the experiment.And the conclusion is drawn that the SOAP message?s accessory compressed by GZIP is a better method.The method is implemented and adopted to compress multi-type data,much less compressed data is gained and its network transmit performance is improved greatly.The correctness and effectiveness of the method are evidently proved.

Abstract:Recently,P2P,which totally gets rid of the architecture of "client /server",gradually becomes a hot topic in distributed computing.The thesis of the paper is to introduce the most-up-to-date technology-Web Services into P2P, hoping we can run Web Services on the P2P network.Web Services over the P2P platform have many advantages upon Web Services over the client/server.On the other hand,introducing Web Services technology into P2P field makes it easier to invoke service within the P2P network.We use JXTA and Apache Axis to implement a project called "SOAP Over JXTA Network"(i.e.Project SOJN).Project SOJN enables the application to send SOAP over the JXTA pipes and the JXTA peer to process SOAP message including invoking a Web Services with the Axis dynamic invocation interface.

Abstract:The increasing scale and complexity of the network are makingnetwork management more and more important. The wide-used network management systems based on SNMP or CMIP adopt a Client/Server paradigm and are characterized by centralization. Due to the simplicity of the manager/agent model, these traditional systems are widely used. But there are also many drawbacks coming with the simplicity and centralization. Analyzing the limitations of the traditional network management systems, the paper describes the benefits of using CORBA and Mobile Agent technology in this field. Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) comes from OMG for distributed object process and integration. With the distributed object platform ORB, interface definition language IDL, and the abundant common services of CORBA, an open network management system can be constructed easily. The architecture based on CORBA presented in this paper mainly addresses the integratebility, extensibility, reusability, and scalability of distributed network management. It benefits from the large amount of SNMP/CMIP devices and the mature management platform. At the same time, it provides not only an extensible application framework to process all kinds of changes quickly through CORBA's distributed object model, but also the independence of programming language though IDL. And it also does well in information sharing and interoperation between high-level services. A mobile agent is an active computing entity characterized by the autonomous, interactive and mobile properties. Due to the autonomous migration on the heterogeneous network, the mobile agent can agilely decentralize the management tasks from workstations into the network. So the network management paradigm based on mobile agent is helpful for flexible decentralization and autonomous operation of the management tasks. By integrating the benefits of both technologies, a novel distributed network management architecture based on CORBA and mobile agent is presented. The architecture becomes more flexible to support the open network environment while applying CORBA technology adequately. It would bring us an open, flexible, and configurable network environment. And the feasibility of the novel architecture is also verified through system simulation in the paper.

Abstract:In this paper, the importance and necessary of developing distributed network management system based on Web and CORBA is analyzed firstly, then the system's use case model is introduced, at last the system's architecture (which combines Web, CORBA notification Service and TCP push technology) and the designs of Web server, CORBA server, reporting real-time default info and user-defined filter mechanism are described in detail. The shortcomings of traditional network management such as the running bottleneck of network management host and network management accessing limited by section is solved effectively by this system.
