Abstract:Focusing on existing drawbacks in the course of application and development,a novel Web development method based on XML technology is presented in this paper,resting on a comparison and an analysis of the classical Web development method with one based on XML technology.Most remarkable advantages of this development method suggested in this paper over the classical one,are to abstract and unify many kinds of business disposing process,separate display logic and operation logic,quickly deal with data exchange,supply the ability of secondary development and improve the development efficiency etc.Thereby,it can meet the requirements of the more and more complicated Web application.

Abstract:As an increasing amount of XML-based applications appears today, reliable and efficient XML storage system and data exchange between XML and DBMS are becoming more and more important. The method of schema-driven mapping between XML and RDBMS is discussed and its basic principles and examples are given. The design and implementation of a schema-driven data exchange system are analyzed and implemented that is platform-independent and supports multiple schemas and modes of conversion. The test result of the prototype of the system shows that the theory and design of this system is feasible and effective.

Abstract:With the application systems based on Client/Server architecture have become more complex, client applications have become larger and larger and the requirement on handling power to client has also becomes higher and higher. On the other hand, response time of the whole system will be reduced with the exchange information increasing. Namely, the practical requirement cannot be met by traditional database based on two levels Client/Server structure, which results in the research and development of database based on web. Abstract:With the increasing needs of data sharing in power system among many different automation systems, it is imperative to find a tool that can facilitate effective data sharing and exchanging. XML is becoming a standard for data communication through the Internet because of its good data-storing form, expandability, hyper-structuralization and web-transforming, etc. In this paper, the application of XML to data exchange in power system automation is discussed in detail.
