Abstract:Based on the up to date development of the ultrasonic machining (USM) technology, applications and development trends of the ultrasonic machining tool are described. Automatic control including intelligent control and adaptive control, also tools in processing as an attachment and load matching system are trends in ultrasonic machining tool. The latest applications of ultrasonic machining technology in deep hole machining, ultrasonic elliptical vibration cutting, ultrasonic grinding, ultrasonic milling and ultrasonic combined machining are summarized, processing accuracy and processing efficiency have got a lot of progress. The development trends and future prospect of the ultrasonic machining technology are expounded. Studying the ultrasonic cutting mechanism, ultrasonic combined machining technology and micro-ultrasonic machining technology are the trends of ultrasonic machining.

Abstract:Super-high grinding machining is a widely employed finishing process to achieve close tolerances and good dimensional accuracy as well as the surface integrity for different materials such as metals,ceramics,glass, rocks,etc. The latest development, current status and applications of super-high grinding machining technologies relating to the ultra-high speed cylindrical grinding, the high speed point-grinding and the high efficiency deep grinding are analyzed in this paper. The importance of developing the super-high grinding machining technologies is illustrated, which implicates the promising future of the super-high speed grinding machining.

Abstract:High speed cutting machining is one of the important techniques of advanced manufacture.Net-shape blank machined by high speed machine tools is the development trend in manufacturing.High speed machine tools should have not only high spindle speed and high in-feed speed,but also high spindle and in-feed system acceleration.This paper discusses the concept and advantages of high speed cutting machining.It also studies both the development and application of the techniques of the foreign high speed machine tools and current conditions and development tendency of ours.The key technology and current development conditions required by high speed cutting machining of high speed machine tools,cutting tools and CNC control systems are also analyzed.In conclusion,the paper explores the application field of high speed cutting technology and its future developments in the area of high speed machining.

Abstract:Abrasive machining is a widely-employed finishing process for different materials such as metals,ceramics,glass,rocks etc.to achieve close tolerances and good dimensional accuracy and surface integrity.High speed and super-high speed abrasive machining technologies are the newest-developed advanced machining processes to satisfy super-hardness and difficult-to-machining materials machined.In the present paper,high efficiency abrasive machining technologies relating to ultra high speed grinding,high speed point-grinding,high efficiency deep grinding are analyzed.The efficiency and parameters range of these abrasive machining processes are compared.The key technologies and the newest development and current states of high speed and super-high speed abrasive machining are investigated.It is concluded that high speed and super-high speed abrasive machining are a promising technology in the future abrasive machining.

As the higher requirements of quality and diversifications for products are put forward, it is essential to improve the precision and efficiency of ultra-precision machining. Ultra-precision machining has become a complicated systems engineering, which involves more and more last research fruits. The conception, application fields, present research status, development tendency, and the key issues of future researches on scientific and technological f of ultra-precision machining are introduced in this paper. Some advanced and typical ultra-precision machine tools, ultra-precision cutting, grinding, and polishing are reviewed and compared in terms of machining accuracy, quality and efficiency. The main problems and miss distance from the advanced technologies of China in ultra-precision machining field are analyzed. In the same time, the probable further trend of ultra-precision machining is forecasted, and the developing countermeasure and strategy of fundamental research, technologies and industry in China are given.

Abstract:Ultra-precision machining technologies are the essential methods, to obtain the highest form accuracy and surface quality. As more research findings are published, such technologies now involve complicated systems engineering and been widely used in the production of components in various aerospace, national defense, optics, mechanics, electronics, and other high-tech applications. The conception, applications and history of ultra-precision machining are introduced in this article, and the developments of ultra-precision machining technologies, especially ultra-precision grinding, ultra-precision cutting and polishing are also reviewed. The current state and problems of this field in China are analyzed. Finally, the development trends of this field and the coping strategies employed in China to keep up with the trends are discussed.

Abstract:： Based on the recent development of the ultrasonic machining technology, the application status and development trends of ultrasonic machining technology are summarized. Ultrasonic machining technology has low cutting resistance and strong cutting, finishing and strengthening abilities. Domestic and foreign scholars have conducted research on the ultrasonic transducer and amplitude transformer in the ultrasonic vibration system. Which aims at increasing the power of the system and the amplitude of the amplitude transformer, and be suitable for a particular processing environment. By right of its process advantages, ultrasonic machining technology has been widely used in the machining of difficult-to-cut material, deep hole machining, thin-walled parts machining, ultrasonic surface strengthening, ultrasonic welding and abrasive impact machining. And its application relates to the fields of semiconductor industry, high-speed train, automobile manufacturing, aerospace, optical components, medical industry and other industries. With the increasing application of ultrasonic machining technology, ultrasonic combined machining, micro ultrasonic machining, rotary ultrasonic machining and ultrasonic bony cutting will get further development and application.

Abstract:This paper focuses on the study of machining technology related to the high speed machine tool which is now mainly applied in milling-action machining of hardening die steel and large-scale aerospace structure unit.The first part tries to discuss the effect that different milling conditions have on tool wear,surface roughness and milling force through detailed milling properties obtained and concluded from tests.Normally,aerospace structure is slice like with low stiffness,in accordance with which the linear motor was used,i.e.small thrust and low servo stiffness as well.Thus vibration easily produces under the circumstance.As such,this paper also intends to seek best favorable conditions under which vibration can be minimized and quality to be bettered.

Abstract:The high-speed and high-precision motorized spindle is the future development trend of the CNC machine tool field, and has become the focus of research in the world. High-speed motorized spindles tend to develop in the direction of high precision, high speed, low energy consumption, high efficiency, and high reliability. We undertake a through, systematic review of the development history perspective of the research on precision bearing technology, dynamic balancing technology, thermal error measurement and compensation technology with regard to the key technologies of high-speed motorized spindles. On this basis, the current level of development of key technologies for high-speed motorized spindles is analyzed, and the objective advantages and disadvantages of existing technologies are summarized. Finally, the development tendency of high-speed motorized spindle technology is predicted and foreseen.
