Abstract:Used Map Objects software as components,and Visual Basic 6.0 as programming language,to develop tourism resources query system for Luzhi River area of Yimen County,in Yunnna Province.After the system platform was chosen,some correlative data was collected,and then,the system structure was designed,and the database was established;at last,every function model of the system was developed and carried out.Besides the spatial-properties query function,it's main function,the system can apply many other map works,like spatial data visualisation,map renderer,map editing and output,etc.After the system is developed,it can apply scientific evidence for tourism planning of the area,and can provide reference for tourism developer and manager to make strategy.

Abstract:As the impact of meteorological information becomes more extensive, the demand of user application interface and interaction effect is increasingly high, the necessity of the application code portability gets more evident, we selected the cross-platform, cross-browser Web front-end technology—Silverlight, combined with WebService interface provided by Bing Maps, designed a Silverlight-based meteorological service system to make any user at any time, any place connected to the Internet, automatically acquire the real-time severe weather warning signals and other conventional weather forecast released by meteorological department. The system provides a WebService-based GIS function.Studies show that the combination of rich client and network services is feasible in the Web Map Service.

Abstract:WebGIS is the integration of Internet and GIS,and it is a realization of GIS on Web.Using WebGIS,people could browse the spacial data and the special map while analyze the spacial data on Web with the browser(such as IE and Netscape).Today,the technology development of WebGIS is speedy in the world.There are many framework for WebGIS,such as ArcIMS of ESRI,MapXtreme,MapInfo or MapGuide of AutoDesk and some national manufactures(SuperMap IS,Geobeans and Geosurf).There are also some successful Web Stations,for example Map of World、Science of NuoPan、Golden Coordinate、MapABC and so on.There are differences between them in function.This paper expounds the whole process of WebGIS,which is using the Map Web Service of ArcIMS,the spatial Engine of ArcSDE,the technology of ArcObject and javascript in the Web Station of www.landjs.com.

Abstract:Current WebGIS platform developing techniques,such as CGI,Server API,Plug-ins,ActiveX, Java and so on,have their respective limitations. A new WebGIS system framework based on COM+ technology is presented. Technical foundation and system structure are discussed. Three key problems are put forward and resolved. Finally,an application example is given. It is proved that the solution can make full use of the resource of server, support operations by multiple users simultaneously have high system security and is independent of the platform of client.

Abstract:As one of the formats of spatial information visualization and transmit,WebMap is the map which is not only browsed,but also edited and protracted on the web.For the fact that the WebMap publishment provided by WebGIS cannot satisfy the demand of many WebGIS users,function of mutual mapping should be provided on the web browser.One of the methods of the WebMap mutual mapping based on Internet is provided.It is applied successfully to the landuse planning management information system of Yubei District of Chongqing.

Abstract:The ability with distributed computing is a main characteristic for new WebGIS platform. An organizing strategy of distributed WebGIS (DWebGIS) based on environment of server group and its implementation are presented. Then the distributed architecture of DWebGIS and engine of map services for COM+ were analyzed in detail. A distributed solution and process methods about DWebGIS are discussed, in which network load balancing (NLB) of server group, hidden marks of no-status objects, just-in-time (JIT) activation and object pooling are the key technique. Also, process of image based map-entities-objects in Client/Server, three factors (The alone filename are created by SessionID?server systematic time and random number), cycle of system request/response are expatiated on. Lastly, the correctness and feasibility for design of WebGIS system platform based on COM+ technique are proved by an example in Zhejiang Provincial Digital Drainage Area Planning System. Our further RD work is in progress.

Abstract:According to the disadvantages of the current WebGIS system,this paper proposed a system framework based on AJAX and Web Service,discussed the design of server and client,and through the development of geologic hazard information online publishing system of Wen Cheng county to test and verify.System operation results show that the system framework can reduce the server and client communication overhead significantly,overcome the heterogeneity of spatial information,and have a good application effect and practical value.

Abstract:This paper analyzes the necessity of the application of WebGIS in CATV basic network. There was almost no research in using WebGIS to manage CATV basic network data in China. This paper briefly introduces how to construct an integrated transaction management system of CATV basic network based on WebGIS, and it forms a database of pivotal points, lines and buildings. CATV basic network based on WebGIS has very great superiority to traditional GIS, anybody can visit the system in anyplace by wired or wireless connection. Therefore it can satisfy the managers who want to query information about network, equipment and customers or response on. In this way the routine network and equipment maintenance becomes easily and fleetly. But WebGIS also has bottle-necks such as vector graphic editing. The editing of vector graphic and attribute play important roles in GIS, especially in CATV basic network management, because equipment, cable and fiber-optic change frequently. This paper develops Zhejiang Jiangshan broadcasting and TV station geographic information system on the basis of ArcIMS platform, and making use of the capability of reading and writing spatial data of ArcSDE to solve vector graphic editing problem.

Abstract:Existing WebGIS system in the field of marine sharing information has many disadvantages at present.A management method of marine remote sensing images data based on SDE is presented.Then the WebGIS system in marine remote sensing field for distributed heterogeneous databases is implemented.System framework,work flow and a few key problems are discussed.Finally,an application case is given and it is proved that the WebGIS system of marine remote sensing this paper presented can support distributed heterogeneous databases,make full use of the resource of server,support operations of multiple users simultaneously,have high security and is independent of the client platform.

Abstract:The number of internet-based Geographical Information Systems (Web GIS) applications has rapidly increased in recent years, in particular with the emergence of sites such as those underpinned by Google Maps technology. Web GIS is seen as a useful tool for E-Government. The Land Management Information System based on WebGIS achieves the purpose of geographic data transmission on internet, and can improve the land information management level. It allows more people to enjoy the service of Geographic Information Sharing. From the status quo and developing needs of land in Lujiazui district of Shanghai, this paper puts forward the significance of building Lujiazui land system. In the paper, user needs, framework and functions have been analyzed emphatically. It is proved that the WebGIS system structure discussed in this paper is practicable.

Abstract:The development is illustrated by taking a case example of marine water quality real-time inspecting project of Zhejiang.To meet the requirements of efficient management and web publishing for marine remote sensing data,a spatial database engine,named as MRSSDE,is designed independently.The data model and accessing method of MRSSDE are discussed in detail.Based on MRSSDE,the system,which can manage the prodigious marine remote sensing data and provide real-time publication,is working well in the marine water quality real-time inspecting project of Zhejiang,so the requirements of marine remote sensing contribution to the society is completely met.

Abstract:To meet the demand for real-time requirements of some WebGIS applications,according to the analyses of traditional WebGIS on its deficiency of adopting the work mode of request/response,this paper proposes to achieve the real-time push of geographic information data on server side of WebGIS system using HTTP protocol-based information push technology of open source framework BlazeDS,the active data push through server to clients provides a better real-time performance,and the use of Flex as the clients can better express the geographic information data.By analysing the principles and basic processes of push technology on BlazeDS server,the architecture of the WebGIS system is presented.Then the core design and the implementation of the WebGIS system are discussed,and finally an example is given to illustrate the feasibility of the system application.

Abstract:Based on the analysis of the software architecture of existing GIS applications in industry,a compound architecture pattern which integrates Client/Server architecture and Browser/Server architecture is proposed so as to better meet the requirement for geospatial information sharing and make better use of geospatial resources.The compound architecture is then used to remake the system which has been used in the Land and Resources industry,called Urban Cadastral Information System,by dividing the original single-architected system into several subsystems with the GIS functionality provided by the same GIS Server.The prototype system runs well and the expected goals are achieved,which to some extent solves the problem that once the single-architected system ran into,meets the demands for sharing the geospatial information and provides new thoughts for the GIS-related applications in other industries.
