Abstract:This paper provides a process for migration from object-oriented application to Web Service. It gives a solution on domain package extraction technology. The technology can be used to analyze object-oriented applications.The paper also gives a solution to assemble new Web Service.

Abstract:The paper attempts to overcome the difficulty of reusing existing CAD resource in network CAD systems using network migration technologies based on Web Services.A web services network architecture with J2EE as the development platform is proposesed.The interactive function modules are arranged in client machines with Active X.The other modules are used in Web Service with JNI in server machines and data is exchanged by XML.The migration of a textile CAD system is achieved with this method to give a solution to network migration of more sigle-computer applications.

Abstract:Web Services are self-contained, modular applications that can be described, published, located, and invoked over a network, generally, the Web. Yet the problem emerges as different Web Services interoperate each other. In this paper we recommend the Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP)[1] as the communication standard in the Web Services Architecture to solve the problem.First, we describe what is Web Services and present the architecture of it. Then, according to the challenge that Web Services faces, we address the key enabling technologies of which SOAP be composed. SOAP has many advantages that other binary protocols, such as Java RMI, do not have. Finally, by introducing an E-business model based on the integration of SOAP, UDDI [2], MQ [3] etc., we show the manner and flow of SOAP to implement Web Services architecture.

Abstract:It is distributed object technology that combined by network and object oriented technology in 90's last century, and it is difficult to extend across Internet. Contributed by HTTP and XML, Web service is becoming the component called through the Web. In this article, we describe and analyze some current distributed object technologies,and then introduce the emerging Web Service technology. We introduce and analyze the two software strategies: Microsoft . NET and Sun ONE. Web Services will transform the current isolated Internet Web into interconnected services.
A Pattern-Based Code Transformation Approach for Cloud Application Migration.

Abstract:To support the migration of software applications to the cloud environment, cloud venders have proposed different migration methodologies and guidelines. Yet, most of them require human intervention, involving manually performing repetitive tasks. This paper proposes a pattern-based transformation approach for cloud application migration. The approach automatically modifies the source code of an application before the migration, to make it cloud-ready, and then transforms the source code to the target code in the cloud environment. The approach is supported by three key elements (patterns, rules and templates) and a process that systematically applies these elements. First, a pattern matching engine based on a regular expression processing technique is used to identify the parts of the source code that require modification and to extract the essential tokens from the source code for code transformation. Next, transformation rules are invoked to change the source code into the target code using a template, designed according to the target cloud environment. The proposed approach has been demonstrated on 19 open-source projects, by migrating them to Amazon Web Services.

We propose a process ontology model by adopting an inheritance mechanism with overriding declaration and monotonic inheritance. Abstract:White-box method for Web legacy system migration need to modify the application source codes and invade the original system,which has great operational risks.To solve the problem,this paper designs a black-box wrapper environment for Web service.Through the wrapper,the complexity of the internal structure of the original system is ignored.The Web application can be migrated into Web services without changing the deployment and operational status of the original system.Application result proves that the method has better controllability.

Abstract:Web services are widely used in many areas via callable APIs, however, data are not always available in this way. We always need to get some data from web pages whose structure is not in order. Many developers use web data extraction methods to generate wrappers to get useful contents from websites and convert them into well-structured files. These methods, however, are designed specifically for professional wrapper program developers and not friendly to users without expertise in this domain. In this work, we construct a service wrapper system to convert available data in web pages into web services. Additionally, a set of algorithms are introduced to solve problems in the whole conversion process. People can use our system to convert web data into web services with fool-style operations and invoke these services by one simple step, which greatly expands the use of web data. Our cases show the ease of use, high availability, and stability of our system.

Abstract:The proper operation of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) depends on underlying system services of operating systems, so efficient and effective migration of Service Hosting Environment is critical to cope with intrinsic-changed nature of SOA. However, due to the large amount of configuration items, complicated mapping and complex dependency relationship among system services, migrating into a new Service Hosting Environment satisfying the operation requirement of SOA becomes an error-prone and time-consuming task. The SCM project in IBM develops a novel approach to migrate Service Hosting Environment shaped in Unix-like systems. Firstly, this approach builds a set of configuration models to describe various system services. Then based on models, it presents knowledge based mapping to translate system service configurations between Service Hosting Environments. Finally, it designs a dependency hierarchy deducting algorithm to compute the dependency relationship among system services for migration traceability and error determination. A SCM prototype has performed well on largely reducing time, labor and errors in real migration cases.

Abstract:There are many business information systems under operation supporting the essential business processes of large scale multi-national enterprises, which forms the essential IT assets of these organizations. However, the isolation of these systems, improper process configurations and unbalanced resource allocations often leads to the deterioration of these enterprises, or even major management crisis. Service-oriented computing is considered a possible remedy for such issues with relatively low migration cost that has attracted much industrial attention. In this paper, through a survey to an industrial consulting case from a Southeastern Asia Garment Manufacture, we discuss how service requirements are elicited, how to evolve conventional management information systems into composite service systems that is reconfigurable at runtime, so as to realize resources optimization and efficiency improvement. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the knowhow of migrating conventional management information systems into service-oriented architecture, from a requirements engineering perspective.

Abstract:Web services provides a new solution by a programming Internet model to integrate distributed and heterogeneous systems into unite. The evolution process of Web services from the integrated views of the distribution computing mixed with grid computing and XML technique is presented. A new Web services architecture model: RSRPM (resources,services,roles,protocols and methods) model and formulated definition have been provided. The main steps to build, to apply and to realize Web services application and core protocol stacks are introduced. Furthermore, some characteristics of different developing tools are compared to each other, such as .Net, WSDE and Sun One. Then, four challenges and trends of the Web services in the application process are pointed out.
