Abstract:Medical data is always complex and specific,it hence is critical to choose an appropriate database platform for the performance of Hospital Information System.This paper explores the status of Hospital Information System in China, and proposes a modified Inpatient Management System based on Post-Relational Database Cach.We analyze the system requirements and choose the Object-Oriented method to design database platform.Furthermore,we propose a direct mouse-drag interface method to resolve the issue of inpatient transfer operation.As a result of application of the Post-Relational Database Cach,the Inpatient Management System is proved to be more efficient.

Abstract:ONet-an object database management system based on ODMG 3.0 standard,implements the part of C++ binding.The basic architecture of ONet client side is introduced,the defects of binding flow with static object schema are analysed.An idea of design based on dynamic object component is offered and the particular description is made for improving and reconstructing the client architecture with interface programming and callback mechanism among the components.Therefore,object schema is loaded dynamically in ONet system.

Abstract:Encrypted databases are an effective method to realize database security. The data encrypt ion prevents intruders from stealing or tampering with crucial information. A design scheme for a network encrypted database is developed using the principles of database encryption and the request for secure data transmission in an open network, using Microsoft's ODBC (open database connectivity). The scheme makes changes in existing database systems and introduces the mechanisms of databaseen cryption and secret key management. It also implements authentication and encrypted data transmission by adding a secure proxy to normal database accessing flow.

Abstract:For the application of real-time database in a petrochemical plant,the article put forwards to a new concept to resolve the communication among real-time database and DCS,control software,and Web-based user interface.The scheme is developed based on Windows 2000 Server using the technique of multe-threading,anolymous pipe and WinSock,etc.The results of long industrial running of this scheme show that it is more effective and feasible for industrial process.

Abstract:More and more network attacks are focusing on application level vulnerabilities. Recently, several examples of this trend have been highly publicized such as the SQL Slammer and SQL Snake attacks. Traditional firewalls, used for protecting the database, only prevent attacks searching for vulnerabilities. Database firewalls take defense deep into the organization by providing full syntax control and audit of the SQL AN stream before it reaches the database, and enforcing content-driven access to database. This paper proposes a layered reference model for database firewalls by enhancing the capability of COAST Laboratory's model. It separates a database firewall into three layers (network layer, schematic layer and semantic layer) according to the knowledge, computation target, and the control granularity of each layer. Based on this model, a database firewall product had been prototyped It can greatly improve the database security by introducing self-controlled authentication principal mapping, object mapping, and mandatory access control modules.

Abstract:Being an important part of Information System, Database Security has absorbed much attention fordecades. First, we bring forth the Database Security's contents, properties of data: sensitivity, integrity and availabil-ity. Several access control models to guarantee these properties are described in this paper. Due to the challengesbrought by advanced DBMSs such as OODBMS and ADBMS, we also discuss some security topics in these fields. Atthe end of this paper, the encryption control and inference control are reviewed together with some trend of thedatabase security technology in the future.

Abstract:At present,many big-sized companies determine the achievements in investment areas and the performance of employees based on business data,the statistics and presentation of business data is particularly important.The status quo of most of enterprises’inner business data system is:the user interface cannot be configured so that the maintenance load is heavy;the business logic is complicated so the efficiency of team development is low and the release of new version will be delayed;and the business data of multi-national corporations cannot be timely synchronised so the data is not reliable.In view of the demand and the current situation,we use the MVC +ORACLE +ODAC-based architecture for development,combines the mechanisms of SVN,Robocopy and Jenkins for automatic data synchronisation and for real-time new versions release.In this paper,we put the emphasis on describing the overall design model of the system,the fully configurable user interface,the application of MVC +ORACLE +ODAC architecture in the system,and the key technologies.The system has been applied in a large company of Hangzhou.Practical operations prove that the system has the characteristics of being configurable,high efficiency,reliable and safe.
