Abstract:This paper presents a method to design and implement a lock management system in engineering database. This method supports multiple granularity lock, automatic lock and automatic lock escalation. Two-phase locking protocol and tree locking protocol can be implemented on this system.

Abstract:For the application of real-time database in a petrochemical plant,the article put forwards to a new concept to resolve the communication among real-time database and DCS,control software,and Web-based user interface.The scheme is developed based on Windows 2000 Server using the technique of multe-threading,anolymous pipe and WinSock,etc.The results of long industrial running of this scheme show that it is more effective and feasible for industrial process.

Abstract:This paper presents a practical concurrency control mechanism — Object-Locking in OODBMS. Object-Locking can schedule transactions, each of them can be considered as a sequence of high level operations defined on classes. By the properties of parallelity and commutativity between high level operations, proper lock modes for each operation are designed and the compatibility matrix is constructed. With these lock modes, phantoms are kept away from databases and a high degree of concurrency is achieved.

Abstract:A new idea and method in constructing the management system of mechanical engineering drawings is presented applying the object oriented technique. This management mechanism not only is consistent with the national recommended standards for management of the mechanical engineering drawings but also can overcome the drawbacks which exist in the designing procedure of the traditional management information system. Therefore, the system safety and code efficiency have been improved greatly.

Abstract:Aiming at the demand in renting and installment sales business of construction machinery, a new type intelligent locking system is suggested. The system mainly consists of two parts: intelligent locking terminal and software generating host computer password. The locking terminal is responsible for judging the operation time of construction machinery and then locking or unlocking it accordingly. The software generating host computer password is used to generate randomly password and parameters with different operation period for the operation of locking terminal. On the basis of describing system structure and work principle, hardware design and software flow, password plotting and classification, pointer type memory structure beneficial to rapidly and effectively retrieve, password generating and managing software based on random algorithm, serial communication protocol based on frame structure are all expatiated in the article. At last, realization of reliable and safe locking is analyzed. In view of the usually rigorous work conditions of construction machinery, some methods to increase system reliability are also discussed. Field test shows that the system features simple control, stable and reliable operation, flexible password setting and safe condition locking so favorable utility value and wide application perspective are demonstrated.

Abstract:According to the features of engineering domains, this paper presents a semantic hypergraph model based on relation and network, in order to express many to many relations of different semantic classes. The management mechanism expressed by the model and the basic data of databases are managed and run in main memory, thus the access efficiency of engineering data is increased. C language interface which includes general and spacial functionalities is proposed for meeting requirements of engineering applications. Abstract:Encrypted databases are an effective method to realize database security. The data encrypt ion prevents intruders from stealing or tampering with crucial information. A design scheme for a network encrypted database is developed using the principles of database encryption and the request for secure data transmission in an open network, using Microsoft's ODBC (open database connectivity). The scheme makes changes in existing database systems and introduces the mechanisms of databaseen cryption and secret key management. It also implements authentication and encrypted data transmission by adding a secure proxy to normal database accessing flow.

Abstract:The protection of sensitive data in database is an important aspect on information security.It becomes more and more exigent to incorporate security features into DBMS.In this paper,a methed is presented that makes DBMS support database encryption by modifying the implementation of DBMS.This method doesn't affect the functionality of DBMS and decreases the performance of DBMS little.This paper also presents correlative key management architecture that makes the management of key secure and effective.Finally,the performance of database encryption is assessed by experimenting on TPC-H data set.

Abstract:In order to improve the utilization rate of laboratory, open laboratory management had become an inevitable requirement, which required intelligent and humanized laboratory management in universities. In this paper, a wireless intelligent electronic lock control system was designed by using STC12C5A60S2 single-chip microcomputer, the design of intelligent lock was completed with Bluetooth technology and WIFI technology on the platform of Android, and the electronic gate control of laboratory was realized. The operation results showed that the design provided technical guarantee for laboratory opening management.
