Abstract:Based on the research status of real-time ethernet, End-to-End delay of ethernet in industrial control processes was analyzed, and its calculation procedure was presented. Through simulation experiment, the real-time characteristics of standard ethernet and fast ethernet under three information releasing modes (synchronous, random, scheduled) were discussed. The results show that the real-time performance of fast Ethernet is obviously better than that of standard ethernet; and in low traffic load, the real-time performance of Ethernet under scheduled releasing mode is the best, but a visible frequency turning point exists; and when the traffic load is saturated, there is no difference under the three information releasing modes.

Abstract:Based on different test conditions,the Ethernet/WLAN test system can build up lumped test duty,execute test duty in batches,and confirm and analyze the network plan according to massive test results.By means of network transmission speed of data sent according to TCP and UDP protocol,network transmission speed of transmitted data in different sizes,drop rate of transmitted data by use of TCP and UDP protocol,the influence of the Berkeley socket and the ZBUF socket on transmission data,the varied different conditions were tested,and the test results were analyzed extensively.This test system can confirm different kinds of the Ethernet/WLAN plan,and provide the reference for weapon system network.

Abstract:Storage area network (SAN) is a new network storage architecture. It meets the need of mass data storage and high-speed data transmission through the centralization storage management and employing fibre channel (FC) as the transmission protocol. It has better performance,reliability and expandability than traditional direct attached storage (DAS) mode and is becoming an important research aspect in data storage field. This paper introduces the features of SAN,then presents a practical SAN architecture. Its performance testing is carried out and some useful conclusions about transmission performance and optimization design in practical applications are put forward.

Abstract:Testing is needed to evaluate the function and performance of network chips; however, there are few papers on test methods for network chips. This paper presents an test structure and five test methods for network chips according to the position of points of control and observation. The five test methods are a centralized test method, a distributed test method, a remote test method, a traversing test method, and a loopback test method. These test methods were used to evaluate the function, interoperability and performance of OC48c POS (packet over SONET) chips. The test methods provide a broad range of tests for network chip testing.

Abstract:To compensate the current lack of Linux system testing software,a kind of B/S structure network test system software working on HTTP,FTP,ICMP and Socks5 Proxy is introduced based on Linux system.The principle and realization methods are expatiated.A comparison is given to show the difference between protocol and application to realize the network test program by network testing experiment based on these four network protocols.The advantages of this system are universal, controllable and being able to automatically perform error analysis.

Abstract:Network measurement and evaluation is one of important means for dealing with network theory researches, management and engineer development. In this paper, evolution of IP network measurement is reviewed at first. Then, basic concepts and various technologies of network measurement are introduced, including active performance measurement, passive flow measurement, network tomography and network probe. Afterwards, performance evaluation index and several popular network performance evaluation methods are explored. Finally, brief summarization is given.

Abstract:Along with computer network popularizing day by day,test way also develops from traditional written records form to diversified form,the network test is a new online test way which appeared in recent years.This paper presents a Web-based online test system,it uses B/S model structure,which runs in the mode of JSP+JDBC.It is suitable for work characters of staffs in enterprises and institutions.Staffs may join network online tests which adapt properties of their works in different time and places.The system may realize the random setting themes,go over test papers on the spot,and can to test grade for statistic,inquiring about,sorting and so on.It has the fine pragmatism.
Measurement Method for User-Level Network Communication Performance

Abstract:High performance user-level network designs need accurate communication analyses. A performance measurement method based on communication analyses was developed to provide detailed analyses of communication performance data. The system firstly analyzes the network architecture and communication processes. Then the system pings targets as a benchmark to measure the round trip travel time. The latency of each communication step can be derived from the pinging data. Test results show that the system is simple and effective, and provides more detailed information about the low level network than the LogP benchmark. The program also gives suggestions on how to use the network better and how to improve network performance.

Basic technology of 10 Mbit/s Ethernet, development of 100 Mbit/s and 1 Gbit/s Ethernet and some new technologies emerged in the recent years are discussed. Abstract:The object of this paper is to discuss testing and evaluation methods, which can be used for performance study of fiber based storage network system. To meet the increasing storage requirements, networking storage. new storage system architecture, has been put forward and has, been developed quickly. in which slot-age area network (SAN) is a key technology. We carry out our tests in two such kinds of structures. BY deploying different parameters settings we can simulate different practical conditions for optimal configuration and system maintenance. The results show SAN that can reaches 90MB/s of transfer bandwidth has advantages over tradition transmitting methods and by deploying different characters we can improve its performances.

Abstract:This work develops the communication Microbenchmark technology, and using this technology it provides a systematic study of the LogP parameters which express the impact of communication performance on the four parallel communication systems over cluster,gm api,mpich over 100M ethernet,mpich over myrinet,and gm mpi. Furthermore,by comparing these paraments,we want to find the characters of the four communication systems and the relations of performance among them.Finally, this work tell the each of the four systems will match what parallel application.

Abstract:Real time and throughput are very important performances of RTI. The impacts of such key techniques as architecture, threading model, communications, TM and DDM algorithms to the real time performances of RTI are analyzed, and an approach to test the performances of real time and throughput is presented. According to the data collected from the experiments, the performances of some typical RTIs are compared and analyzed. The result shows that in high speed LAN the simulation cycle of an HLA-based system can reach more than 30Hz, which meets the requirements of most man-in-the-loop simulation systems.

Abstract:This paper propose an application-layer network performance measure method for distributed information collection system, and verified the authenticity and stability of the proposed network distance by experiments. Based on the research process, we proposed a definition of network distance based on distributed information collection system of distributed search engine, and to reduce the network of distributed data acquisition system from the total amount of the research for this article, is the main direction. Aimed at the definition of the network distance in information collection system, improved network distance prediction algorithm and Web partition system, experiments and analysis are all carried out. We finish an experimental verification of application-layer network distance that limit the authenticity and stability in statistics less than 10%, through which as a standard of network distance of establishing network coordinate, also can provide a theoretical basis for the further network distance prediction.
