Exploiting MapObjects Serving Urban Greenland Management

Abstract:Technically,this paper introduces the ActiveX component technique,which applies the MapObjects,a GIS component,in the field of greenland management of Changchun City. The Urban Greenland Management Information System of Changchun City,exploited newly by the authors,has the function of map controlling,information querying and editing. The system carries out the map zoom in,zoom out,pan and the bidirectional query functional with querying attribute information from spatial information and the other way round,and shows the green sight situation in multimedia format,which supplies technologcially support tools for the scientific management of greenland in Changchun City.
