Abstract:This article introduces a convenience and feasible system that can take advantage of program to control the I/O of parallel printer interface to drive the stepping motors and that is applied in the experiment device of detection. In order to drive the stepping motors, this system makes use of the data-output ports of parallel printer interface that have the flip-latch function to transmit required-frequency pulse by controlling parallel printer interface's I/O.

Abstract:To lower the cost of brushless DC motor controller,designed a new speed control method using hall effect position sensors to provide speed measurements which can work without a high resolution encoder.A fuzzy logic controller was used to fix the system's instability and poor performance of speed adjusting,both of which were caused by the uneven speed sample rate.This method was simulated on computer by Simulink software.A sewing machine control system was also designed employing this new method using TMS320F28027 digital signal processor.The result of experiments showed that system worked stably and effectively.

Abstract:A stepper motor subdivision control system has been designed in this paper,which is based on ARM7 chip LPC2214 and the LMD18245 electrical machinery special-purpose driver chip.The "linear + sine" wave driver method and the electric current vector constant breadth algorithm is used in this system.The digital wave data is generated by ARM controller,which is converted to corresponding control voltage.The voltage is enlarged by driver chip LMD18245 to drive the two-phase stepper motor.The control sign is input by the keyboard,and the frequency and the subdivided multiple are displayed by liquid crystal.The software based on uCLinux and MiniGUI platform is designed.Multi-purpose control of the stepper motor and 4096 subdivision multiple are realized in the system.

Abstract:A control method of linear acceleration and deceleration on step motor was introduced in this paper. The main idea was to judge the deceleration district according to the residual length of the line segment. This method reduced machining time greatly and increased cutting efficiency availably. It also had the characteristic of intelligent control. The method had been applied and confirmed in the NC system successfully.

Abstract:Three-phase reaction stepping motor speed and steering control system is designed based on single chip microcomputer.Input stepping motor pulse frequency adjusts to the stepping motor rotating one of fixed angle.The stepper motor speed is adjusted because of changing stepper angle by controlling the pulse frequency and time delay strategies.This scheme AT89C51 microcontroller timer internal changes CP pulse frequency and stepping motor speed control.Through theoretical and experimental research,the system realized the stepping motor speed and positive negative control functions.The stepping motor intelligence control system was in wide frequency range by changing pulse frequency regulating stepper motor speed and fast starting and stopping and positive negative control.

Abstract:A control system based on TMS320LF2407A DSP and Winbond 78E52 microcontroller was designed for the high speed industrial zigzag stitching machine. With the movement of two-bar linkage, the whole system offers excellent responsiveness and allows the machine to create many patterns with high speed.

Abstract:Ultrasonic motor is difierent from traditi- onal electromagnetic motor and it is driven bv friction force.It is characterized by rapidly dynamic perfor- mance and high resolution.Based on its character,this paper introduces a precise position control metho- d.Firstly,the paper points out the essentials of high resolution and stepping characteristic of ultrasonic motor in theory and experiment.Next,based on this characteristic of the motor,the paper discusses high precise position control strategy named stepping- position control method and the factors that influence position precision are analyzed.By the stepping- position control method,high precise position control (0.010°) have been realized by the experimental hybrid transducer type ultrasonic motor,which demonstrates its potential for driving high precise mechanical system,such as MEMS.

Abstract:In order to simplify mechanical structure of the cycloidal propeller and reduce mechanical components wear,a new control system of cycloidal propeller was designed.Step motors were used as the control mechanism of cycloidal propeller.The ralationship between the rotaing angle of the plate which blades was mounted on and the oscillating angle of the blades was modeled.By means of the model,the number of pulse for controling the step motors was obtained.These pulses made the controlled oscillating angle of blades accorde with the theory value.The result of simulation experiment demonstrates that the control system of cycloid propeller based on step motor works well and meets the control requirements of cycloidal propeller.

Abstract:The stride angle of a two-phase hybrid stepper was usually 1.8° or 0.9° degrees.For smaller angle control,subdivision of stride angle was needed.Based on PWM function of a microcontroller,a stepper driving circuit was designed,and the effect of winding coil induction on transient current was analyzed.Program was written to realize 24 steps subdivision.Finally,a simple test device was design to check whether the subdivision was correct.The results showed that the designed circuit and program made it the subdivision,and the error was in an acceptable range.

Abstract:Stepping motor is the most popular executive component in high performance textile machinery, especially in the computerised embroidery machine. Five-phase hybrid stepping motor drivers in the computerised embroidery machine have a good many defects such as low frequency torque vibrations, high frequency inadequate torque output and multi power supplies. Combined with theoretical analysis, this paper gives a reformative driver based on analysis of present stepping motor drivers. This driver uses single power supply and three-phase excitation and gives PWM output. The design improves the stability in low frequency and the torque-frequency characteristic in high frequency and it has been applied in the computerised embroidery machine and has achieved a real good effect.

Abstract:Microstepping control for stepper motor is a well-known technique to improve stepper motor performance. In this paper, a digital controller for microstepping drive of stepper motor using Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation (SPWM) approach is proposed and the electromagnetic torque is compared to the conventional full-step methodology and the SPWM technique used for microstepping. The system has been simulated using Matlab/Simulink and the controller has been implemented using STM32F103 microcontroller. The paper presents the design, analysis, simulation and experimental results of SPWM based microstepping drive, and the simulation and experimental results depict the effectiveness of the controller.

Abstract:Stepping motor is an important control element.It is widely used in the automatic control system in the production field.In order to make the students of automatic control specialty master the working characteristics and usage of stepping motor quickly,a new stepping motor control experimental device is developed.The basic requirement for the whole motor control system is to select the suitable microcontroller.The microcontroller of K60 series has a kernel of ARM Cortex-M4.It has many advantages such as high performance,low power consumption,and rich resources on chip.It can meet various function requirements of motor control system.The experimental device is made of magnetic powder brake,reducer,stepping motor,incremental encoder,control circuit and so on.The control circuit is made of K60 minimum system board made by ourselves,power control module,4 × 5 matrix keyboard module,torque control module,encoder decoding module,LCD module and so on.In this paper,the designs of hardware and software are introduced in detailed.The experimental device gets good teaching results.
