Abstract:Described in this paper is the numerical model whose results are consistent with the test data for analysing the form and the stress condition of the pipe laid down taking advantage of stingers or bracket barges in the typical field. At the same time, the current that is parallel to the pipe is considered. After qualitative analyses of the data, suggestions are made for laying down the pipe.
