Abstract:The principle,technology and application of ozone sterilization are discussed.The main problems during ozone sterilizing are explained.And we try to find out how to solve these problems.It is indicated that ozone can be substituted for conventional disinfectants especially in water supply system.

Abstract:Ozone was an excellent disinfectant and had been applied in water disinfection for a century.It could inactivate microorganisms such as protozoa efficiently,which were very resistant to conventional disinfectants due to its high oxidation efficiency.The mechanisms of the combined technologies of O3,UV,H2O2 and TiO2 as well as its application in water treatment are investigated.The developmental direction of ozonation technique in the future is also presented at the end.

Abstract:The oxidation capacity of ozone is improved and the degradation rate of pollutants is increased by ultrasonic irradiation. The ozone decomposition rate as well as mass transfer rate could be enhanced and results in the augmentation of the active free radicals. The ozone combined with ultrasonic irradiation is the efficient means of degrading azo dyes in waste water and refractory organics such as nitroaromatics in water. In the process of water treatment, the major influencing factors are ozone dose, ultrasonic density and pH.

Abstract:The mechanism,research progress and application of ozone oxidation technologies in air purification,solid disposal and wastewater treatment are reviewed.The combination of ozone oxidation and other technologies including BAC,O3/H2O2,O3/UV are introduced.Compared with traditional oxidants,ozone oxidation not only avoid chlorinated organic compounds,but also improve the speed of filtration,reduce number of filter tanks,promote flocculation and reduce number of flocculation tanks and flocculants dosage,extend the filter tank usage time,reduce rinse water consumption and improve the water quality.

Abstract:With the development of industry and agriculture,source water has been polluted in different levels.The increasing concentration of organic matter,inorganic matter and ions in the water have some impact on drinking water disinfection.In order to establish a safer water treatment technology and to provide some theoretical guidance and technical support,it is very important to understand drinking water disinfection factors.Therefore,this article reviewed the status of ozone disinfection,including disinfection mechanism and influence factors,such as temperature,pH,organic matter,inorganic particles and ions.Meanwhile,the article introduced the combination process.Overall,ozone disinfection has strong disinfection ability and is regarded as a promising disinfection process.

Abstract:The widespread applications of ozone technologies are established on the basis of large-scale manufacture of ozone generator and chemical reactivity of ozone. It is hence necessary to summarize the principles of ozone generation and to analyze the physicochemical properties of ozone, which are of fundamental significance to indicate its technical developments and practical applications. This review presents a summary concerning ozone generation mechanisms, the physicochemical properties of ozone, as well as the applications of ozone in water treatment. Ozone can be produced by phosphorus contact, silent discharge, photochemical reactions, and electro-chemical reactions, principally proceeding by the reaction of oxygen atom with oxygen molecule. There are side reactions to the generation of ozone, however, which are responsible for ozone depletion including thermal decomposition and quenching reactions by reactive species. The solubility of ozone in water is much higher than that of oxygen, suggesting that it may be reliably applied in water and wastewater treatment. Based on the resonance structures of ozone, one oxygen atom in ozone molecule is electron-deficient displaying electrophilic property, whereas one oxygen atom is electron-rich holding nucleophilic property. The superior chemical reactivity of ozone can also be indirectly revealed by radical-mediated reactions initiated from homogenous and heterogeneous catalytic decomposition of ozone. Owing to the reliable generation of ozone and its robust reactive properties, it is worthy to thoroughly elaborate the applications of ozone reaction in drinking water disinfection and pre- or post-treatment of industrial wastewater including cyanide wastewater, coking wastewater, dyeing wastewater, and municipal wastewater. The structural characteristics of ozone reactors and energy requirement of applied technologies are evaluated. In addition, future directions concerning the development of ozone generation, ozone reactivity, and industrial wastewater ozonation have been proposed.

Abstract:Ozone is a new bacterial control material.It is a strong oxidizer,it can release extra oxygen molecular in water so that hydrogen dioxide results in hydrogen peroxide which can destroy and penetrate of cell membrane to kill pathogens.Ozone can be used in killing bacteria and fungi.In recent years,Ozone has been widely used in fish industry.The main use of ozone,including Sterilization,the oxygen content enrichment,oxidation,decomposition of ammonia,Oxidation of toxic substances in water,bait feed culturing,ice storage of fresh fish and so on.This article describes the nature of the ozone and its application in the fish industry,in the preservation of fish products,shellfish purification,aquaculture,fish breeding and aquaculture industries.The summarized application is to provide information for the development and application of ozone.

Abstract:The basic principle of zonation technology is described in detail. The effects of ozone dosage, temperature, pH, UV, H2O2 and catalyst on the treatment of antibiotics wastewater by ozonation are discussed. The recent developments about ozonation of six kinds of antibiotic wastewater, including beta-lactam antibiotics, macrolide antibiotics, sulfonamide antibiotics, quinolone antibiotics, tetracycline antibiotics, and chloramphenicol antibiotics, are reviewed.
