Abstract:With the development of industry and agriculture,source water has been polluted in different levels.The increasing concentration of organic matter,inorganic matter and ions in the water have some impact on drinking water disinfection.In order to establish a safer water treatment technology and to provide some theoretical guidance and technical support,it is very important to understand drinking water disinfection factors.Therefore,this article reviewed the status of ozone disinfection,including disinfection mechanism and influence factors,such as temperature,pH,organic matter,inorganic particles and ions.Meanwhile,the article introduced the combination process.Overall,ozone disinfection has strong disinfection ability and is regarded as a promising disinfection process.
