Abstract:在 2种盐密、4种海拔高度下对 9种典型的大吨位电瓷、玻璃和复合绝缘子进行了人工污秽试验 ,得出了各种绝缘子污闪电压随海拔高度变化的规律。试验结果表明 ,三层伞型电瓷绝缘子的耐污闪性能最好 ,双层伞型电瓷绝缘子的耐污闪性能也较好 ,而且随海拔升高其污闪电压的降低幅度较小 ;在高海拔重污秽地区采用复合绝缘子的优势非常明显 ,即使表面已无憎水性 ,它的污闪电压也比电瓷和玻璃绝缘子高。最后给出了不同绝缘子的下降指数n值 ,它反映气压对污闪电压的影响程度并与绝缘子的外形和污秽有关

Abstract:The surface discharge development processes of polluted porcelain insulators for power transmission lines are tightly related with the development of leakage current (LC), the characteristics of LC, the insulating condition, and discharge intensity of the insulator surface have an important significance for revealing the contamination discharge state of insulators. In order to analyze the LC characteristics of porcelain insulators in the process of pollution flashover, artificial pollution flashover tests on porcelain insulators were conducted in the artificial fog cabinet, and the characteristics of LC waveforms in time-domain and frequency-domain were simultaneously measured and analyzed during the tests. The results indicated that the amplitude of LC, fundamental harmonic, the third harmonic, and fifth harmonic had a strong correlation, the maximum of LC( I m ), the rate of total harmonics ( THD ), and the phase difference of fundamental harmonic (θ) were used for the representation of the characteristics of the LC waveform. The LC has the characteristics of high amplitude, low proportion harmonic, and small phase difference between the fundamental harmonic and voltage before the flashover occurrence. The test results provide effective reference for porcelain insulators in pollution flashover forecasting.

Abstract:3种不同伞型的复合绝缘子在亲水性状态和 4种海拔高度、两种盐密下进行了人工污秽试验 ,并和典型的电瓷绝缘子做了比较 ,同时也进行了憎水性状态下复合绝缘子的污闪试验。试验结果表明 ,复合绝缘子污闪电压随气压降低有规律地降低 ,而且即使表面丧失憎水性其耐污闪性能也远高于电瓷绝缘子。

Abstract:This paper descirbes leakage current characters and discharge phenomenon of outdoor insulators both in the lab and in the field. The results are hoped to be used for online monitoring of the contamination levels. The following contents are introduced in the paper: leakage current monitoring systems, relationships between leakage current and discharge phenomenon, flashover prediction methods and its applications in the field. The leakage current monitoring system is introduced firstly. Then the relationships between leakage current and discharge phenomenon for both suspension insulators and post insulators are presented based on the laboratory tests. A new parameter (I * ) that accounted for maximum leakage current (Ih) and different insulator shapes is introduced to estimate the flashover voltage for different kinds of pollutant layers when they are saturated with moisture. Meanwhile, the relationships between relative humdity (RH) and maximum leakage curren, altitude and maximum leakage current are investigated. With these results a flashover prediction method is developed. Ih measured in different relative humidity is converted to I * for the same contaminate layer when it is saturated with moisture. Then the flashover voltage is estimated by I * . Furthermore, an online leakage current monitoring results are analyzed. The relationships between leakage current characters in the field and ambient relative humidity are analyzed. The results show that although there are some differences between the leakage current in the field and in the lab because of some especially serve atmospheric conditions, the relationships are similar. Meanwhile, leakage current waveforms in different weather conditions are investigated. The waveforms of leakage current in the field are similar with those in the lab. The leakage current waveform that accounted for strong arc is found in the field. Finally, the contamination level of the field insulator is evaluated. The results corresponds well with the local condition.

Abstract:This paper summarizes the results achieved on the research of leakage current characteristics of external insulation in Tsinghua University for more than 20 years. The relationship between leakage current at pre-flashover stage and the flashover voltage is developed. When the insulator surfaces are saturated with moisture, the relationship between leakage current under service voltage and discharge phenomenon is studied. The influences such as equivalent salt deposit density (ESDD), the flashover voltages, the profile and string length of the insulators and the applied voltage on the leakage current under service voltage are investigated. When the surfaces are not saturated with moisture, the ESDD level, the fog density and relative humidity (RH) are related to the maximum leakage current (IL,m). A multi-channel leakage current monitoring system adequate for both the lab and the substation was developed. A large number of leakage current and meteorological data have been recorded by this system. Finally, the method to predict flashover by maximum leakage current under service voltage is developed based on the above results.

Abstract:为通过测量绝缘子表面泄漏电流实现污秽程度的在线监测与预警,对影响绝缘子饱和受潮条件下泄漏电流的因素进行了研究。提出了一种在大空间试验室中控制环境湿度的方法,通过人工污秽试验研究了在不同湿度条件下充分受潮后的绝缘子表面污层泄漏电流,分析了等值盐密、环境湿度对泄漏电流变化趋势的影响,并探讨了绝缘子在不同湿度条件下的泄漏电流之间的关系。研究结果表明泄漏电流与绝缘子受潮过程密切相关,无温差条件下可近似认为低湿度条件下测得的泄漏电流与饱和受潮状态下泄漏电流满足线性折算关系。进一步给出了利用低湿度条件下泄漏电流预测饱和受潮条件下泄漏电流的方法,并讨论了其适用范围。

Abstract:为了研究绝缘子表面污秽对流注传播的影响,在海拔高度为2 100 m的特高压实验基地,利用3电极结构进行了实验研究,比较了涂覆不同盐密和灰密污秽的绝缘子上的流注传播特性,并用Ansoft电磁场分析软件对涂覆污层前后绝缘子表面的电场分布进行了仿真计算。实验结果表明:流注的稳定传播电场强度随盐密的增大而先增大,在盐密超过0.10 mg/cm2后保持不变,随灰密的增大而升高;在外加电场强度大于稳定传播电场强度后,相同电场强度下,变化污秽层盐密、灰密对应的流注传播平均速度相差不大。通过仿真计算发现:污层的存在使得绝缘子表面的电场分布发生畸变,污区的电场明显减弱,污层两端电场增强;污层电导率的变化使得电场分布改变,从而导致涂污前后绝缘子表面流注放电脉冲波形在盐密、灰密变化时的稳定传播电场强度变化。

Abstract:A fundamental parameter of polluted insulator online monitoring is the leakage current, which has already been shown to be well-related to the pollution discharge of insulators. In this article, in an effort to quantitatively reflect the discharge intensity and the discharge status by the leakage current, we carried out an experimental study on artificial pollution discharge of insulators. A high-speed photographic apparatus was utilized to capture the entire process of local arcs on a porcelain insulator surface, including the arc generation, the arc development, and the flashover, for which the associated leakage current of insulators was synchronously digitized. A comparative analysis of the relation between the two-dimensional discharge image and the leakage current waveform in the process of arc generation and development shows that if the arc area on the insulator surface is relatively small and the leakage current passes through zero, the arc might completely become extinct, whereas this phenomena will not occur if the arc area is larger. In addition, the amplitude of the discharge arc area is found to be roughly proportional to the square of leakage current over the range of leakage current amplitude from 0 to 150 mA. Our results can provide an important guidance for judgment of the discharge status and the discharge intensity on insulator surfaces using the leakage current of insulators.

Abstract:The leakage current is closely relative to the development of contamination flashover, and monitoring leakage current is an important measure to evaluate the contanmina-tion status of insulator. The high frequency leakage current of glass insulator is studied based on the artificial pollution tests in order to avoid the disadvantages of traditional leakage current measurement. In the paper, the amplitude, waveform and frequency spectrum of high frequency leakage current are analyzed. Finally the characteristics of high frequency leakage current are stated, and the relativity between the characteristic parameters and the ESDD is discussed.

Abstract:研究染污绝缘子的湿润特性对完善其污闪机制有着重要意义。基于"混流法"和"水汽平衡法"的原理设计了可以准确控制环境温、湿度的污秽试验系统和精确控制环境温、湿度与气压的小环境系统,试验结果证实了这两系统具有良好的温、湿度控制效果。以设计的污秽试验系统和小环境系统为试验平台,详细研究了环境温度、环境相对湿度、大气压、污秽物中可溶盐的成分及含量、污秽物中惰性物质的成分及含量等对玻璃、瓷绝缘子湿润特性的影响,同时研究了含有蔗糖污秽绝缘子、自然污秽绝缘子和绝缘子不同部位的湿润特性差异,并分析了其机制。研究结果表明:除了大气压外,其他因素都对染污瓷和玻璃绝缘子的湿润特性有明显影响。

Abstract:The pollution flashover of insulators is the most serious accidents to the safe operation of power grid. Leakage current, as one of parameters for evaluating the pollution degree of insulators, which could be continuous online monitored, have a certain correspondence with some typical discharge phenomena. The on-line monitoring devices of the leakage currents have been installed in many places in Jiangsu Power Grid and a lot of leakage current data have been accumulated, which could be used to effectively evaluate the pollution degree of insulators. In this paper, based on the monitoring data of the leakage current of the actual operating line, the factors affecting the leakage current of the insulator surface, such as seasons, festivals, contamination, rainfalls and temperature difference are analyzed, which might provide references for the pollution warning system.

Abstract:为了防止污闪事故的发生,需要对线路外绝缘污秽状态和污闪风险进行评估。泄漏电流法由于其在线实时性越来越受人们关注。泄漏电流主要受绝缘子染污程度和受潮程度的影响。目前研究大多集中在饱和受潮下的泄漏电流特性,而对于非饱和受潮的研究较少。为了对绝缘子泄漏电流和湿度关系进行研究,研制了一套湿度可控的绝缘子污秽试验的智能测控系统。该系统能精确测量试验过程中绝缘子上的电压、电流及温湿度;对实现泄漏电流在0.1mA～2A内精度为2%的测量;采用模糊控制调节湿度,实现相对湿度在80%～99%内精度为2%的调控。同时对不同污秽的绝缘子在不同湿度下的受潮进行了研究分析,给出了加湿的参考时长为40min。

Abstract:In order to solve external insulation in ultra high voltage DC transmission lines,flashover characteristics of two types of glass insulators under different ESDD NSDD contamination patterns are studied in this paper.Based on these tests,the leakage current signals are recorded and analyzed in this paper.The eigenvalues of leakage current,such as amplitude,quantity,lasting time and leakage charge,are chosen and analyzed as the key features of leakage current.Then,two new eigenvalues are developed which can effectively reflect the pollution state of the insulator surface.

Abstract:This paper reported the different leakage current waveforms of discharges on ceramic insulators and RTV coated insulators in the artificial pollution flashover tests. According to the recorded data, the joint time and frequency analysis methods of short-time Fourier transform (STFT) and Gabor transform were used to pick up the characteristics of leakage currents and analyze the development and transition of leakage currents on the hydrophilic and hydrophobic surfaces. Results of STFT and Gabor transform all show that the joint time-frequency distribution of the whole process tested on the hydrophilic surface is different from that on the hydrophobic surface, if they were treated as the non-stationary signals. In addition, the time-frequency distributions of discharges on the hydrophilic surface in different stages are found to differ from those on the hydrophobic surface

Abstract:为了完善复合绝缘子的人工污秽试验方法,研究了染污硅橡胶试品的受潮过程。试品受潮期间监测污层表面泄漏电流,并提取了泄漏电流基波分量,结合试品受潮状态图像,综合分析泄漏电流变化趋势与污层受潮状态的对应关系。试验结果表明:泄漏电流幅值会受到污层表面放电现象的影响,然而泄漏电流基波分量主要取决于污层表面电导率,放电过程对泄漏电流基波分量幅值的影响较小。泄漏电流基波与全波的差异,体现了染污试品表面放电强度,以泄漏电流基波分量与全波的幅值比(以下简称幅值比)来表征污层表面的放电强度。放电强度与污层的受潮程度紧密关联,幅值比变化在试品受潮期间呈现出典型的阶段性,其第3阶段与污层的干区形成过程相对应,表明污层受潮程度趋于一种临界状态。在幅值比变化第3阶段附近进行升压闪络试验,试品污闪电压与污层憎水性能相关性良好。反之,若受潮时间设置不合理,试品污闪电压不能体现出污层的憎水性能差异。研究所得结论有助于理解复合绝缘子的受潮过程,为表征复合绝缘子的受潮状态提供了新思路。

Abstract:In this paper, Leakage current flowing along contaminated ceramic insulators was separated into low frequency component and pulse component, which were detected respectively by Rogowski coil in artificial contamination tests. The effects of the operating voltage, the equivalent salt deposit density and humidity on the two characteristic components of leakage current were investigated. It is revealed that the peak of the pulse current component has a sudden rising during the increase of humidity, and the inflexion has been found to be closely related with the low frequency current. The diagnosing methods based on the combination of the two current components have been proposed eventually.
