One New Species of Microplitis Foerster (hymenoptera: Braconidae: Microgastrinae) from China

Abstract:This paper deals with one new species and one new record species of the genus Microgaster Latreille(Hymenoptera:Braconidae:Microgas trinae) Collected from Zhejiang and Guangdong provinces in China.All the specimens are deposited in the Insect Collection of Plant Protection Department,Zhejiang Univesity. 1.Microgaster shennongjiaensis xu et He,sp.nov(Fig.1～5) This species is closely related to M.hospes Marshall 1885,but differs from the latter in the combination of the following features:(1)Penultimate joint of antenna 1.5 times as long as wide;(2)OD 3 times as long as APOL;(3)Inner spur of hind tibia much longer than outer one;(4)Legs reddish yellow but apical 1/4 of hind leg blackish;(5)Hairy part of ovipositor sheath 0.75 times as long as hind tibia. Holotype ♀,Shennongjia (31.7° N,110.7° E)，Hubei Province,28.Ⅷ.1982,coll.by He Junhua,No.825855.Paratypes:1♀4♂♂,Shennongjia,Hubei Province,25-28.Ⅷ.1982,coll.by He Junhua,Nos.825852,825390,825391,825531. 2.Microgaster novicius Marshall 1885 This species is first recorded from China.
