Abstract:This paper is devoted to the global large solutions to the 3 dimensional compressible Navier-Stokes equations in the critical Besov spaces with initial data satisfying a nonlinear smallness condition. Here the "large solutions" mean that the any component of the initial velocity could be arbitrarily large. Moreover, we give an example of initial data satisfying the nonlinear smallness condition, while the norms of each component are arbitrarily large. Our approach is inspired by the weighted Chemin-Lerner technique used for the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations.

Abstract:In this paper, we prove that the incompressible inhomogeneous Navier–Stokes equations have a unique global solution with initial data ${(a_0,u_0)}$ in critical Besov spaces ${\dot{B}_{q,1}^{\frac{n}{q}}(\mathbb{R}^{n})\times\dot{B}_{p,1}^{\frac{n}{p}-1}(\mathbb{R}^{n})}$ satisfying a nonlinear smallness condition for all ${(p,q)\in[1,2n)\times[1,\infty)}$, ${-\frac1n\leq\frac1p-\frac1q\leq\frac1n}$ and ${\frac1p+\frac1q > \frac1n}$. We also construct an initial data satisfying that nonlinear smallness condition, but the norm of each component of the initial velocity field can be arbitrarily large in ${\dot{B}_{p,1}^{\frac{n}{p}-1}(\mathbb{R}^{n})}$ with ${n < p < 2n}$.

Abstract:This paper is concerned with the initial–boundary value problem of the 3D primitive equations with only horizontal viscosities and horizontal diffusion. We first establish the local well–posedness result of this system, with the initial data belongs to the anisotropic Sobolev pace H0,s(s>12). Then, under the basic and high-order energy estimates, one can extend the local solution to the global one provided that s>1. The restrictions on the initial data is more weaker than the previous results which are obtained by Cao et al. ((2016) [8] and (2017) [9]), in which the initial data belongs to H2 and H1∩L∞, respectively.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider a global wellposed problem for the 3-D incompressible anisotropic Navier-Stokes equations (ANS). We prove the global wellposedness for ANS provided the initial horizontal data are sufficient small in the scaling invariant Besov-Sobolev type space B(0,1/2). In particular, the result implies the global wellposedness of ANS with large initial vertical velocity.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider the global well-posedness problem of the isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes equations in the whole space $\R^N$ with $N\ge2$. In order to better reflect the characteristics of the dispersion equation, we make full use of the role of the frequency on the integrability and regularity of the solution, and prove that the isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes equations admit global solutions when the initial data are close to a stable equilibrium in the sense of suitable hybrid Besov norm. As a consequence, the initial velocity with arbitrary $\dot{B}^{\fr{N}{2}-1}_{2,1}$ norm of potential part $\Pe^\bot u_0$ and large highly oscillating are allowed in our results. The proof relies heavily on the dispersive estimates for the system of acoustics, and a careful study of the nonlinear terms.

Abstract:Consider the Cauchy problem of incompressible Navier–Stokes equations in three dimension with axisymmetric initial data. If the swirl component satisfies some certain regularity criteria in weighted spaces, the existence of the time-global solution has been proved in our previous work. However, it is more or less evident that the solution is anisotropic in vertical direction (i.e., the direction parallel to the axis of symmetry) and the horizontal directions (in the plane perpendicular to the axis of symmetry). In this paper, we are interested in constructing regularity criteria and time-global solution in anisotropic Lebesgue spaces.

Abstract:This paper proves that the 3-D Navier-Stokes system has a unique global solution under an assumpution on the initial data. That allow the data to be arbitrarily large in the scale invariant space \dot{B}_{\infty,\infty}^{-1}, which contains all the known spaces in which there is a global solution for small data. Moreover, this result provides various examples of arbitrarily large initial data giving rise to global solutions.

Abstract:Chemin, Gallagher, and Paicu obtained in 2010 a class of large initial data that generate a global smooth solution to the three-dimensional, incompressible Navier-Stokes equation. The data varies slowly in the vertical direction-it is expressed as a function of epsilon x(3)-and it has a norm that blows up as the small parameter goes to zero. This type of initial data can be regarded as an ill prepared case, in contrast with the well prepared case treated in earlier papers. The data was supposed to evolve in a special domain, namely Omega = T-h(2) x R-v. The choice of a periodic domain in the horizontal variable played an important role.The aim of this article is to study the case where the fluid evolves in the whole space R-3. In this case, we have to overcome the difficulties coming from very low horizontal frequencies. We consider in this paper an intermediate situation between the well prepared case and ill prepared situation (the norms of the horizontal components of initial data are small but the norm of the vertical component blows up as the small parameter goes to zero). The proof uses the analytical-type estimates and the special structure of the nonlinear term of the equation.

Abstract:In this per, we consider a special class of initial data for the three-dimensional incompressible Navier-Stokes equations with gravity. We show that, under such conditions, the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations with gravity are globally well posed, and the velocity minus gravity term has finite energy. The important features of the initial data is that the velocity fields minus gravity term are almost parallel to the corresponding vorticity fields in a very large space domain. Abstract:In this paper, we consider the Cauchy problem for the three-dimensional barotropic compressible Navier-Stokes equations with density-dependent viscosities. By considering the system as an elliptic-dominated structure and defining suitable energy functionals, after the elaborate index analysis, we establish the global existence of strong solutions as long as the initial data is large enough. This is a big contrast to the classical results where the initial data is a small perturbation of some resting states.
