Abstract:This paper proves that the 3-D Navier-Stokes system has a unique global solution under an assumpution on the initial data. That allow the data to be arbitrarily large in the scale invariant space \dot{B}_{\infty,\infty}^{-1}, which contains all the known spaces in which there is a global solution for small data. Moreover, this result provides various examples of arbitrarily large initial data giving rise to global solutions.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
The problem that this paper attempts to solve is the existence of global solutions with large initial values for the three - dimensional incompressible Navier - Stokes equations (NS equations). Specifically, the author attempts to prove that under specific assumptions, even if the magnitude of the initial data can be arbitrarily large, the 3 - D NS system still has a unique global solution. ### Main Problem Description 1. **Background and Motivation**: - The three - dimensional incompressible Navier - Stokes equations (NS equations) are an important fluid mechanics model, which describes the evolution of the velocity field and pressure field of an incompressible fluid over time. - Researchers have long been exploring the well - posedness of the NS equations, that is, the existence, uniqueness, and stability of solutions given initial conditions. 2. **Existing Research Progress**: - For the case of small initial values, many studies have shown that the NS equations have global solutions. For example, the work of Fujita and Kato shows that in some spaces, if the initial data is small enough, there exists a unique global solution. - However, for the case of large initial values, the situation becomes more complicated. Most existing results are limited to specific types of initial data or small data in specific spaces. 3. **Contributions of This Paper**: - The author proposes a new method to deal with the problem of large initial values. Specifically, the author proves that in a certain critical space \(\dot{B}^{-1}_{\infty,\infty}\), even if the norm of the initial data can be arbitrarily large, the NS equations still have a unique global solution. - This result extends previous research because it allows for the consideration of a wider range of large initial value types, thus providing a new perspective for understanding the global behavior of the NS equations. ### Formula Representation The key formulas involved in the paper include: - **NS equations**: \[ \begin{cases} \partial_t u - \Delta u+(u\cdot\nabla)u+\nabla p = 0, \\ \text{div } u = 0, \\ u(0,x)=u_0(x), \end{cases} \] where \(u: [0,T)\times\mathbb{R}^3\rightarrow\mathbb{R}^3\) represents the velocity field, and \(p: [0,T)\times\mathbb{R}^3\rightarrow\mathbb{R}\) represents the pressure field. - **Critical space**: \[ \dot{B}^{-1}_{\infty,\infty}(\mathbb{R}^3) \] This space contains all the spaces where the existence of global solutions with small initial values is known, and allows the norm of the initial values to be arbitrarily large. ### Conclusion By introducing new technical means and cleverly decomposing the structure of the solution, the author successfully proves that under broader initial value conditions, the NS equations still have a unique global solution. This result not only extends the existing theoretical framework but also provides new directions for future research.
