Abstract:•The original levels of dioxins in raw meal were relatively higher than in clinker.•The average dioxin concentration of stack gas was 0.0109ng I-TEQ/m3.•De novo formation occurred during the pre-heater range.•There were no differences in emissions whether adding RDF or not.•Dioxin mass balance of cement kiln was −1325 to −669mg I-TEQ/year.
